In February 2022, the auction house Sotheby’s will hold an auction in Paris, within the framework of which a racing Alfa Romeo 155 V6 TI Jägermeister with chassis number «005» will be sold under the hammer.

Initially this four-door was intended for the Euroteam team, but then it turned out to be at the disposal of J.A.S. Motorsport, which specialists were responsible for tuning the car.

The up for sale sports car took part in two seasons of the DTM / ITC championships in 1995 and 1996. This car was used by a former Team Lotus F-1 pilot Michael Bartels.

He did not manage to achieve any major achievements. In 1995 he finished only tenth in the standings, and in 1996 he was twenty first.

After that, the car was at the disposal of the Alpi Racing team, but did not take part in races anymore.

After some time it was acquired by Pier Giorgio Furlanetto.

In the collection of the last car was up to 2007, and then the current owner bought the four-door.

By the way, the latter decided to fully restore the car.

The restoration of racing Alfa Romeo was done by Fabrizio Pandolfi and specialists of Lindlmaier Motortechnik and Scuderia GT workshops.

In the process, the engine and chassis were reassembled. Complex restoration cost the owner 170,000 euros (14.1 million rubles at current exchange rate).

The motor is located longitudinally and has titanium valves, «dry» lubrication and electronic ignition.

It works in conjunction with a six-speed sequential transmission, developing 420 hp.

Due to the carbon fiber body, the four-door weighs only 1,040 kg. It is able to accelerate up to 300 km/h.
