New 725-horsepower supercar Aston Martin DBS Superleggera.
Photos and full specifications of the new sports coupe Aston Martin DBS Superleggera have been published online.

The novelty, which will compete with the Ferrari 812 Superfast, will receive a turbocharged 5.2-liter V12 engine with 725 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque.

The Aston Martin DBS Superleggera is based on an aluminum platform with carbon fiber body panels. The supercar weighs 1,700 kilograms, 72 kilograms less than the DB11.

Especially for the model, the engineers of the British brand have changed the shape of the front splitter and ventilation slots, which allowed to achieve 180 kilograms of downforce — more than any other road Aston Martin.

The V12 engine, delivering maximum torque in the 1800-5000 rpm range, is mated to an upgraded eight-speed ZF automatic transmission.

From standstill to 60 mph (97 kilometers per hour) DBS Superleggera accelerates in 3.4 seconds, to 100 miles per hour (161 kilometers per hour) in 6.4 seconds.

The supercar’s equipment list includes a mechanical limited-slip differential, a lowered adaptive suspension, a high-flow exhaust system with adjustable dampers, carbon-ceramic brake discs with six-piston calipers at the front and four at the rear.

According to preliminary information, the price of Aston Martin DBS Superleggera will be about 300 thousand dollars (18.9 million rubles at the current exchange rate).

The first deliveries to customers will begin before the end of the year.

The previous Aston Martin DBS was equipped with a 5.9-liter V12 engine, the output of which was 517 horsepower and 570 Nm of torque.

The supercar accelerated from zero to “hundreds” in 4.3 seconds, and its maximum speed was 307 kilometers per hour.

Aston Martin DBS Superleggera has received a TAG Heuer special edition.

Aston Martin has unveiled the DBS Superleggera in a limited edition «TAG Heuer Edition», which was developed in collaboration with the renowned Swiss watch manufacturer.

The modification has a black Monaco Black body paint, while the carbon fiber roof, mirror housings, splitter, spoiler and a number of other body kit components have received a satin finish.

The special version can also be distinguished by the presence of TAG Heuer nameplates.

The wheels of this version of the supercar flaunt special 21-inch wheels with a double spoke design. They are shod with Pirelli P Zero tires, with bright red rims and matching brake calipers.

The interior of the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera TAG Heuer Edition is trimmed in black leather and Alcantara, and the seats here are distinguished by contrasting red stitching and patches with the Swedish company logo.

As a decor, the developers used carbon and blackened chrome inserts.

The TAG Heuer Edition DBS Superleggera is limited to 50 pieces and starts at £ 295,000 (approximately $ 389,000) each.

It is reported that before the sale, all cars will be personally tested by the executive director of the British brand Andy Palmer, and each buyer of the two-door will receive a special TAG Heuer watch, the design of which was developed by Swedish specialists with an eye on this car.
