Audi RS e-tron GT 2022. The RS e-tron GT: Audi’s most expensive Audi. Love electric cars, but have a reason not to get excited about the Porsche Taycan and can’t put up with the Tesla’s unaccustomed ergonomics for old-school motorists?

It seems Audi has some great news. And it’s called the RS e-tron GT! It is the fastest, most powerful and most expensive electric car of the German brand.

In essence, it’s a technical clone of the Tycan, but in a different wrapper. And it seems that Audi’s design has definitely succeeded!

We won’t get used to the names of Audi electric cars anytime soon. Product managers also seem to be confused with them, but we are not ready to sympathize: it’s their own fault!

That’s who made you call a large electric crossover just «e-tron»? As if you wouldn’t have other electric cars.

And here we are: a large and fast electric sedan is called e-tron GT. And its fastest version was called RS e-tron GT (at least there is some logic in it).

Let’s start with the related Porsche Taycan. It is, of course, as fast as an iron nut shot from a slingshot.

If Audi designates the coolest electric cars with letters RS, but Porsche calls wicked modifications by old-fashioned name — Turbo.

Although there are no turbos in the Taycan, of course. Besides a sedan, Taycan can be a Sport Turismo «barn» and even a Cross Turismo all-terrain wagon.

Another very informative video, which we recommend, is a review of the Tesla Model S Plaid with a steering wheel instead of a steering wheel and a lot of other curious excesses.

However, none of them prevent the American electric catapult from gaining 100 km/h in about two seconds.
