New body design.

BMW 740d xDrive with a 3.0-liter turbodiesel 320 hp and 680 Nm: acceleration from standstill to 100 km / h — 5.3 seconds, flow in the combined cycle — 5.5-6.0 liters;

BMW 750d xDrive with a 3.0-liter diesel 400 hp and 760 Nm: start from 0 to 100 km / h — 4.6 seconds, average fuel consumption — 5.8-6.1 liters.

All versions are equipped with 8-speed automatic transmission ZF.
Hybrid version of the BMW 745e uses a bunch of 3.0-liter gasoline engine with a return of 286 hp (450 Nm) and an electric motor of 113 hp (265 Nm), integrated into the «automatic». Such a tandem, generating a total of 394 hp and 600 Nm thrust. It can be installed both on a sedan with a standard wheelbase, and on a long-wheeling four-door. In the first case, the car has rear-wheel drive (BMW 745e iPerformance). In the second — the rear (BMW 745Le) or full (BMW 745Le xDrive).

For the accumulation of energy in the hybrid “seven” is responsible lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 12 kWh, mounted under the rear sofa. When driving only on electric, it provides 50-58 km mileage. The maximum speed in this mode is limited to 140 km / h. Up to 100 km / h, the new BMW 745e, with the engagement of both engines, accelerates in 5.1-5.3 seconds. Following the results of the 2019 restyling, the BMW 7-Series also received a suspension with modified settings.
