The combination of the words Brabus and Rocket has always meant something very exciting, and if such an extraordinary car as a five-door Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S 4Matic + is taken as a base, it becomes all the more interesting.

True, earlier «rockets» from Bottrop were twelve-cylinder, and now we are talking about a car with a biturbo-eight.

But it doesn’t matter: the working volume of the motor of the crazy Brabus Rocket 900 One Of Ten was increased from 4.0 to 4.5 liters, and other «witchcraft» made it possible to raise the output from the factory 639 hp. and 900 N / m to 900 hp. and 1250 N / m.

However, when installing the engine in the car, the Germans limited the torque at the level of 1050 N / m for the sake of the survivability of the transmission.

In total, Brabus will build ten such vehicles. Each will differ in some individual details in the decoration. The first copy of the series is priced at 435,800 euros (39.47 million rubles).

The new project is based on the five-door Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S 4Matic +. After modifications, it received a new aerodynamic body kit made of carbon fiber, a suspension lowered by 25 millimeters, as well as different-sized forged Monoblock Z wheels with a diameter of 21 inches at the front and 22 inches at the rear.

The car was presented with Monoblock Z wheels (21 inches in front and 22 inches in the rear), and for the sake of them the body was expanded by 78 mm due to carbon fiber arches.

An immodest splitter and a wing were blown through a wind tunnel. The suspension is lowered by 25 mm. The stainless steel exhaust system is topped with carbon fiber tailpipes.

The standard GT 63 S twin-turbo V8 4.0 with 640 horsepower pumped up to 900 horsepower and 1250 Nm. But for this it was necessary to increase its working volume by half a liter.

The Rocket 900 accelerates to «hundreds» in 2.8 seconds. The mark of 200 kilometers per hour overcomes in 9.7 seconds, 300 — in 23.9 seconds.

The maximum speed, electronically limited due to irreversible tire wear, is 330 kilometers per hour.

The acceleration time of the monster from zero to one hundred was reduced from the original 3.2 s to 2.8 s. And the difference in acceleration from standstill to 300 km / h is even more noticeable.

The factory version takes 35.8 seconds, and the 900-horsepower version from Brabus reaches the 300 km / h bar in 23.9 seconds.

Such a «family liftback» is able to develop 330 km / h, after which the electronic limiter will work (in order to protect the Pirelli tires from excessive wear).

The factory version has a maximum speed of 315 km / h. At the same level, the «collar» of the 800-strong Brabus 800 GT 4 worked, which loses 0.1 s to its fellow «rocket» in acceleration up to a hundred.

The increase in engine power was achieved not only due to an increase in displacement, but also due to larger turbochargers, as well as an increase in boost pressure.

The interior has no gray stitching and piping on black leather and Alcantara.

On the backs of the armchairs there are Brabus Masterpiece badges, on the doors and seats — a quilted pattern in the form of a coat of arms.
