Chrysler Pacifica AWD 2021.

The updated Chrysler Pacifica 2021 received an all-wheel drive version.

At the February Chicago Motor Show, two thousand and twentieth, the FCA concern presented the updated Chrysler Pacifica 2 minivan, which, during the restyling, not only received more modern appearance and equipment, but also acquired an all-wheel drive.

The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica stands out with a revised front end and sports LED headlights already in the base.

Of the changes in the back — a new bumper and other lights, united by a diode jumper, plus other wheels were sent to the car.

As for the interior, the main innovation inside was the appearance of the fifth generation Uconnect multimedia system.

The latter boasts a display enlarged to 10.1 inches and an operating system based on Android. The automaker claims that the performance of the complex has become five times faster.

During the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica restyling, the Americans increased the number of USB connectors in the cabin to twelve, while the FamCam (Family Camera) option also became available for the minivan.

The latter is a camera installed in the cabin, the lens of which is aimed at the rear seats and transmits the image to the central display, which is designed to simplify the observation of passengers (children) sitting in the gallery.

The car in the expensive configuration Limited received a new central tunnel between the front seats, which provides a lower shelf and a more spacious box.

Also, from now on, the monocab can be ordered in a luxurious Pinnacle design.

The interior of this version is trimmed with natural nappa leather and has a box increased by 12 liters with a soft cover-armrest between the front seats and branded cushions on the second row.

The appearance of an all-wheel drive transmission did not affect the transformation possibilities of the interior of the updated Chrysler Pacific 2021.

In particular, the Stow’n Go system is still offered for the car, thanks to which the second and third rows can be folded, forming a flat floor.

The line of power units for the model has not changed during the restyling. By default, the minivan relies on a 3.6-liter naturally aspirated V6 with 291 hp. and a nine-speed automatic.

In addition, the car can still be ordered in a hybrid version, where this engine is derated to 264 hp. and is supplemented by two electric motors for 86 and 116 forces, as well as an electromechanical variator.

The hybrid version has a 16 kWh traction battery that can be recharged from an outlet. On one electric traction, such a monocab can travel up to 53 km.

But now the American minivan can be ordered with all-wheel drive, but the latter is available only for the usual non-zero version of the model.

The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica AWD features a straightforward multi-plate clutch transmission that connects the rear wheels when needed.

The signal to activate the all-wheel drive can be the slipping of the front wheels, a sharp depression of the gas pedal, or even the inclusion of wipers. Plus the model has imitation of differential locks using brakes.

The all-wheel drive version of the model has a retuned suspension with a 20 mm increase in ground clearance, as well as a rear anti-roll bar. At the same time, it is curious that the first four-wheel drive will receive pre-reform cars.

This will happen in the second quarter, while the appearance of the updated minivans in the US market is scheduled for the end of the year.

Over time, the restyled Pacific will reach Russia, but there is no information on prices.
