Citroen, the French car maker, has organized sales of a new family minivan that runs exclusively on electric power in Great Britain — e-Berlingo model.

As it became known, the new Citroen e-Berlingo is offered to customers with two available options — Feel and Flair XTR. Each of these modifications can be made in variants M and XL, which means five or seven seats in the cabin.
The price for the basic version of the family van begins with 29575 pounds, which is comparable to the amount of 2.89 million rubles.
It is also known that any modification will be offered a battery of 50 kWh and an electric motor with a capacity of 136 horsepower.
On a single battery charge in this technical version of the car will be able to overcome about 280 kilometers of distance.
By the way, the battery assumes the possibility of rapid recharging, so that about 80% of its capacity can be replenished in just 30 minutes.
The car’s standard features include rear parking sensors, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment screen, two sliding doors, and the Android Auto and Apple CarPlay systems.
The entry-level variant is also equipped with Citroen’s safety package, which includes lane-keeping assist, cruise control and speed limiter with traffic sign recognition.
The Flair XTR version costs from £32,280, which compares to £3.15 million, and gets a 10-inch digital driver’s display, projection screen, satellite navigation, 180-degree rearview camera, 17-inch wheels, black roof arcs and exterior mirrors, and orange bodywork.
The e-Berlingo is one of three electric minibuses Stellantis model will launch this year in line with its goal to fully electrify its lineup by 2025.
The new Citroen e-Berlingo van will go on sale in late 2021.

The new Citroen e-Berlingo 2022 is equipped with an electric motor with a peak output of 136 horsepower (260 Nm) and a 50 kilowatt-hour battery located between the axles.
On a single charge, the novelty is able to drive up to 275 kilometers on the WLTP cycle.
There are Eco and Normal modes. In the first case, the output of the electric motor is limited to 82 hp, in the second — by 109 powers. The e-Berlingo 2022 has a quick charge — from a special charging station the novelty can be charged from 0% to 80% in 30 minutes.
The electric car can be charged to 100% in about 7.5 hours, or overnight, from a household power grid.
In Europe, sales of the electric Citroen e-Berlingo 2022 will start at the end of 2021.
The car will be offered in two wheelbase variants, a payload of up to 800 kilograms and a cargo compartment capacity of 3.3 to 4.4 cubic meters. Prices will be announced later.
