2021 Fiat Panda urban hatchback introduced.
The Italian brand has unveiled an updated version of its subcompact Panda model. The new 2021 model year boasts a sports version, as well as an expanded list of available options.

Fiat has unveiled an updated version of its iconic Panda, which turns 40 this year. Along with the usual City Life, City Cross and Cross trim levels, the 2021 city car version will be offered in the Panda Sport version (pictured).

The machine, which has been “designed for an active customer”, features two-tone 16-inch wheels with a black and red theme.

In addition, the Fiat Panda Sport boasts an exclusive Matt Gray exterior paint and an optional black roof.

The mirrors and door handles come in the same shade as the rest of the body as standard, but can also be finished in high-gloss black. Rounding out the changes on the outside is the chrome Sport logo located on the front fender.

Inside, the Panda Sport has a titanium-colored dashboard and door cards covered in eco-leather. The headlining is in black and complements the dark gray seat upholstery.

Like other versions of the 2021 Panda, there is a seven-inch touchscreen of the updated infotainment system with support for digital radio, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Fiat says the Panda is «the most affordable hybrid on the market» with a 70-horsepower 1.0-liter FireFly Hybrid engine.

The electrified three-cylinder unit is mated to a new six-speed manual transmission and will be available for the company’s entire lineup in the future.

In the Cross version, the engine will be combined with a 4×4 all-wheel drive system.

The current generation Fiat Panda has been the best-selling car in the Italian domestic market for eight consecutive years.

Not so long ago, our publication wrote that the Fiat 126 was demonstrated in the form of a modern electric car.

Italian design studio MA-DE Studio on Sunday, October 18, published images of the electric reincarnation of the classic model Fiat 126. The new project was named Fiat 126 Vision.

The Centoventi constructor car: the harbinger of a new generation of Fiat’s bestseller.

The Italian manufacturer decided to show the construction machine. Some of the accessories for it can be printed on a 3D printer.

Centoventi means «one hundred and twenty» in Italian: the concept presented in Geneva is dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the founding of Fiat (Fabbrica Italiana Automobili Torino).

It is assumed that this show car is a harbinger of the fourth generation Fiat Panda «crumb». Well, it’s high time, because the previous generation was presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show back in September 2011.
The Fiat Centoventi Concept is a modular electric car that the owner can change at will at any time. Several color options, bumpers, rims, as well as different roofs are available for the car.

A total of 120 different interchangeable accessories are available. So, the buyer will have the opportunity, for example, to change the usual roof for a version with a hatch or soft top.

By the way, many of these parts will be 3D printed. To install some of them, you will need the services of service workers, but most owners will be able to change / add on their own.

It is curious that not only exterior elements can be designed to your liking. Even the battery of an electric car is subject to replacement.

If desired, the owner can increase their number (by purchasing or renting batteries). But the company did not disclose the technical characteristics of the concept.

However, it is known that the standard equipment allows you to drive about a hundred kilometers without recharging, and with additional batteries the path will be up to 500 km.

The Fiat Centoventi salon is designed for four people, including the driver. The interior, of course, can be customized.

Like current Fiats, the concept has the ability to use a smartphone as a digital display screen for a multimedia system. Another option is a 20-inch screen in place of the dashboard.

By the way, Fiat Panda remains the best-selling car in Italy and one of the most demanded in Europe today.

In total, 168,094 vehicles were sold on the European market in 2018, which is 10% less than in the previous year.

In general, the peak year for the third generation model was in 2016 (after the update), when almost 190.5 thousand cars were sold.

At the Geneva Motor Show, new items from other brands belonging to the FCA concern were shown. For example, Alfa Romeo has unveiled its upcoming first plug-in hybrid Tonale.

The look of this plug-in crossover features the Brera coupe from the previous decade. It is not yet known whether this concept will make it to mass production.
