Monterey Car Week has already seen a number of notable new products, but they are still being accompanied on the exhibition stands by tuned versions of cars that are leaders in their class.

Hennessey Performance Engineering company brought just such an example to the exhibition: it presented Venom F5 hypercar, which was first presented in December last year, and as a production car.

And let the circulation of such cars is only a few dozen pieces a year, and their price exceeds $ 2.1 million, Hennessey designers decided once again to draw attention to their development, offering «unusual» coloring of the body of the hypercar.

The color was called Mojave Gold, i.e. with its help Venom F5 became «golden».

Perhaps the new shade is more suitable for the car than the basic Speed Devil Blue (the developers specifically put both variants on the stand to give viewers the opportunity to compare), because this car is really one of the brightest and most valuable representatives of the class of hypercars.

Under the casing of this car hides a V8 engine with a working volume of 6.6 liters with incredible 1817 hp, which allow acceleration up to 500 km/h.

At the same time to 100 km/h Venom F5 accelerates in less than 3 seconds, and to 200 km/h — for 4.7 seconds exactly.

Other interesting features of the car are carbon-ceramic brakes with six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers, different-sized wheels (19 and 20″) with Michelin Pilot Cup Sport 2 rubber, multifunctional steering-wheel and Hennessey Venom F5 branded ride electronics package, including five presets: Sport, Track, Drag, Wet and F5.

The last mode is designed to release all the power of the engine, and what this hypercar is really capable of in road conditions, the company Hennessey promised to demonstrate in the coming months.
