Jaguar F-Pace 2021 — restyling of the most popular model of the company.
A lot of time has passed since the release of the Jaguar F-Pace, and the car has practically not been changed in appearance.

From time to time, the management presented a crossover with slight visual differences in order to somehow keep its design up-to-date.

In 2021, another version of the British crossover will appear. On the one hand, there are still no fundamental changes in the exterior. On the other hand, the manufacturer decided to compensate for this with extensive internal updates.

Key features

The key features of the Jaguar F-Pace 2021 include:

Slightly modified exterior. The designers decided to present the hood in an updated design. To complement the front end, a set of LED headlights is installed.

Also, the bumper and a set of taillights were subjected to minor changes.

Completely redesigned interior. The developers understand the importance of changing the interior, so they decided to complement it with a range of luxurious materials, exquisite details and the most modern technologies.

The changes are aimed at creating a calm space inside the cabin for every passenger, not to mention the driver.

The emergence of electrified engines. To improve performance and efficiency, it was decided to complement the standard range with MHEV mild hybrids and PHEV plug-in hybrids.

Improvement of diesel engines. The Ingenium standard line has been updated so much that the company plans to present them as a separate, second generation.

The two-liter powertrain will be turbocharged, and the mild hybrid MHEV will be responsible for performance at all speeds.

Regular over-the-air updates. The manufacturer will update the software automatically. To do this, it is enough to park the car near open or stored sources of wireless Internet.

Thanks to the use of the most modern data transfer protocols, the duration of the installation of the new software is reduced to a couple of minutes.

Constantly in touch. The branded multimedia system Pivi Pro, supplemented by two SIM cards, received a touchscreen 11.4-inch display operating in high resolution.

Maximum passenger comfort. The proprietary InnovativeActive noise reduction technology, complemented by air ionization, allows you to forget about dust and exhaust gases in the cabin.

And this is not a complete list of features. This time, the developers really got confused, having done a tremendous job.

Appearance

Over the past five years, the Jaguar manufacturer has hardly changed the design of the vehicle. It seemed that it was time to get down to restyling, but then there is reason for disappointment.

British engineers have really changed the design, but unfortunately it cannot be called a restyling of the Jaguar F-Pace.

As previously mentioned, the manufacturer has installed a new bonnet, bumper, headlights and rear brake lights. But it’s all located on the same platform.

It seems that the designers adhere to the «why change what works well» principle. But in the current competitive environment, the use of such an approach can play a cruel joke with the developers.

Characteristics

The line of modifications of F-Pace has been tweaked. The old engines were completely discontinued, leaving only the Ingenium family.

Also, several versions with a manual transmission and rear-wheel drive are no longer available for the choice of potential buyers.

Now each car is equipped with only an all-wheel drive transmission, supplemented by an eight-speed «automatic». Each engine is complemented by the MHEV system in the form of a 48 volt starter generator.

Engines for Russia Jaguar F-Pace are presented in three variants of turbodiesels and gasoline units.

Turbodiesel internal combustion engines are presented in the form of four-cylinder units with a volume of 2 liters and a capacity of 163/204 forces, as well as a three-liter engine for 300 forces with six cylinders.

In the line of gasoline models, the main emphasis is placed on three-liter six-cylinder units (340 or 400 forces), but there is also a 250-horsepower two-liter copy with four cylinders.

The fashion for green technologies has not bypassed the novelty. The hybrid version will be based on a two-liter four-cylinder petrol unit, complemented by a 105-kilowatt PHEV electric motor.

The capacity of the built-in battery in the electric Jaguar will be enough for the car to travel 53 kilometers without using the main motor.

When using a standard DC terminal, it will charge a full charge in just 30 minutes. The consumption when switching to the WLTP cycle will be only 2.2 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers.

Competitors

The main competitor of the novelty will be the Porsche Cayenne. On the one hand, the competition is controversial, as Porsche engineers always focus on producing high-performance Caennes with decent room for improvement. On the other hand, there is no limit to perfection for every car.
