The 2021-2022 Lincoln Nautilus debuts a luxurious Aviator-style interior.
The Nautilus is one of Lincoln’s best-selling cars, but its interior has always left a lot to be desired.

The company is now solving this problem with a comprehensive update that brings the crossover into the 21st century.

The changes are immediately obvious: the interior of the 2021-2022 Nautilus is significantly improved in the spirit of the latest Aviator.

He received a completely new dashboard with extensive wood trim. There is also a stylish horizontal element with new deflectors and a glossy finish.

 

Lincoln Nautilus 2021-2022. Drivers will experience a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and SYNC 4 infotainment system with a 13.2-inch display.

The infotainment system is one of the largest in its segment and features a Lincoln-exclusive Constellation theme inspired by the night sky.

It supports voice recognition technology and, wireless updates.

The manufacturer also offers a revised color palette, which includes Sandstone with «color contrasts ranging from light to dark.»

The color Black Ebony has also returned, which is now combined with the new accents of Roast.

Buyers looking for something more exclusive can choose from two Black Label finishes. The Chalet theme «creates the contrasting pleasure of the slopes and the warm comfort of a chalet.»

This theme is realized using Espresso and Alpine Venetian leather and Silverwood deep applications. The Flight theme harmoniously combines luxurious leather and other materials for a heavenly feel.

External changes, compared to the interior, are minor. These include a slightly modified bumper and a smoother front end.

Another notable update is the addition of Phone as a Key technology.

It allows owners to use the Lincoln Way app to unlock and start the vehicle without a physical key.

The engine lineup is retained and includes an entry-level 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that develops 250 hp. and a torque of 380 Nm.

Buyers can also opt for the twin-turbo 2.7-liter V6 that develops 335 hp. and 515 Nm, respectively.

From a safety perspective, the Co-Pilot360 suite of driver assistance systems is standard and includes automatic high beam headlights, blind spot detection with cross-traffic alert, and pre-collision assistance with automatic emergency braking.

Customers can also order the Co-Pilot360 Plus package, which adds adaptive cruise control with stops and lane centering, improved active parking assistance, and a 360-degree camera system.

The 2021-2022 Lincoln Nautilus arrives at US dealerships early next year, with prices to be announced closer to launch.
