Mercedes EQE 2023. Mercedes-Benz has presented electric sedan EQE. At the launch of sales the novelty has received an innovative multimedia system, a 292-horsepower electric motor and a cruising range of more than 500 kilometers.

In addition, electric cars are already «base» equipped with a number of active safety systems and branded AMG-parts.

The cost of the novelty, which will be an alternative to the E-class, is still unknown.

Dimensions of the Mercedes-Benz EQE is 4,946 millimeters in length, width and height are 1,961 and 1,512 millimeters respectively.

At the same time the wheelbase of the electric sedan reached 3120 millimeters. Volume of the trunk — 430 liters.

The novelty has received narrow headlights, the original 19 or 20-inch wheels, as well as branded AMG-housing, thanks to which the coefficient of aerodynamic drag is only 0.2.

The cabin of the EQE is equipped with the innovative multimedia system MBUX Hyperscreen, which combines several touchscreen displays with a total width of 141 centimeters.

The infotainment system is equipped with an eight-core processor and 24 gigabytes of RAM.

At the same time, a separate 12.3-inch screen with Internet access is provided for the front passenger.

In addition, the modern complex includes a special camera that monitors the direction of the driver’s gaze.

If he is distracted by the passenger display, the system will automatically reduce its brightness to a minimum.

Other innovative technologies in the EQE include a fingerprint scanner and augmented reality navigation.

At the start of sales, the electric sedan will be offered with rear-wheel drive and a single electric motor with 292 horsepower and 530 Nm, as well as a traction battery with a capacity of 90 kilowatt-hours.

In the future, the company plans to release a twin-engine version.

Depending on the configuration, the range of the electric sedan will be from 545 to 660 kilometers on the WLTP cycle. As an option, the electric car is available with a fully steerable chassis, as well as an air suspension.

The safety complex of the electric sedan includes automatic emergency braking, headlamp control, collision warning, as well as Lane Departure Prevention and side impact, blind spot tracking and road signs.

Production of the Mercedes-Benz EQE will be set up at the company’s plant in Bremen, Germany, as well as at a plant in Beijing.

Sales of the innovative electric sedan, which will be an alternative to the E-class, are scheduled for the middle of next year.
