Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Ralliart 2022. Mitsubishi revives the Ralliart: SUV and pickup.

Six months after its first announcement, Mitsubishi has revived the Ralliart brand.

But until «relaunch» happened only on one market — and in very modest format. I am speaking about the market of Thailand where Mitsubishi has rather good positions.

However, not sports cars are presented here at all, but SUV Pajero Sport Ralliart and pickup Triton Ralliart (in our country it is L200). And the amount of improvements of these cars, to put it mildly, is insignificant.

Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Ralliart version has plenty of black decor (grille, stern spoiler, antenna, 18-inch wheels), tinted headlights, red mud flaps, decals on boards and special mats in the cabin.

Only two body paint schemes are offered: white with a black roof and all-black.

The SUV is equipped with a standard 2.4 turbodiesel (181 hp) and eight-speed «automatic», and the «sportiness» is emphasized by the optional rear-wheel drive.

Mitsubishi Triton Ralliart has approximately the same set of differences. Mirror casing, door handles and plastic insert in a cargo area are painted in black.

The trucks have 2.5 turbodiesel (128 hp), 5-speed manual and rear-wheel drive, and you can choose «half-ton» or two-row cabin.

Prices of Ralliart-versions have not been announced yet, but the extra price should not be too big compared to the base versions.

However, this is just the first stage of the rebirth of Ralliart brand. Subsequently, the company intends to return the concept of «Mitsubishi-ness» in relation to driving, although specific terms and models have not been announced yet.

According to rumors, the first Ralliart-model with more serious modifications will be the crossover Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV of the new generation.

We shall remind that the division Ralliart was abolished in March 2010 against the background of Mitsubishi’s general crisis.

Mitsubishi has kept the promise and has returned versions of Ralliart after more than ten years of absence. However, the return turned out to be conditional.

The Mitsubishi Ralliart is now an accessory package for the Pajero Sport SUV and the L200 pickup.

It is a little disappointing — there is no increased power and special suspension settings. The Ralliart is all about looks now.

The Pajero Sport Ralliart received red color on the front and rear bumpers, black spoiler on the trunk doors and black roof paint, covers for wheel arches, mud flaps, mats and stickers Ralliart.

The L200 received the same «improvements» except for the spoiler.

Both models in Ralliart version will be offered in black or white color to choose from, and only on the Thai market.

The hybrid crossover Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV will get Ralliart version next. It is likely to get the same accessory package.
