Opel Corsa 2020.

The new Opel Corsa 2020 has become even faster and more dynamic.
The presentation of the new generation will take place at the international motor show in Frankfurt in September 2019. However, many characteristics of the new items became known long before this event. Sales of the sixth generation will begin immediately after the official presentation.

Appearance

Already in appearance, we can say that this is not just some regular restyling, but rather a new generation of Opel Corsa. There have been many changes, for example, the angle of inclination of the windshield has changed, which entailed a change in all elements of the body.

A serious relief appeared on the hood, which goes a little ahead. Thanks to new elements improved aerodynamic performance.

A large radiator grille is installed on the front, with a wide chrome strip on it, which seems to attract the head optics to each other. Inside the optics, high-quality LED filling. On the front bumper there are small recesses for foglights, in the center there is an additional air intake, barely noticeable under license plates. Such a cooling system was chosen for a reason, it is simply necessary for the installed engine.

Designers did a good job on the profile of the car. The roof has changed, the windows also look completely new. Side mirrors got an electric drive. A stylish image emphasizes the interesting design of the rims. At the back, everything is ergonomic and neat.

Above the luggage compartment lid there is a raised visor with LEDs that duplicate the brake light. The rear optics, although it looks quite simple, but still it continues the general style of the hatchback.

The exterior of the car was worked out by designers and constructors down to the smallest detail; we can say that the car looks not just modern and dynamic, but also perfect.

Salon

For the decoration of the 2018-2019 Opel Corsa, high-quality materials were used, although this is not a premium class, but still everything is at a decent level. At the joints, high quality and accurate work can be noted. The interior used artificial leather, fabric, soft plastic, aluminum inserts. It can be assumed that the interior designers decided to execute it with a minimalist style, there are no elaborate elements here.

The center console has a large number of buttons and other controls. The central place is reserved for the large touch screen, it can display information from the navigation system or any other portable devices.

Three washers are provided for adjusting the operation of the climate system. The transition from the center console to the tunnel was made perfectly, the gear shift lever stands out on it.

The steering wheel stands out noticeably, on its spokes there are many functional buttons for adjusting the car’s settings or for controlling the multimedia system. The dashboard, in fact, is made in the classic form, on it are two analog sensors, between which there is a small monochrome display.

The front row seats are very comfortable, equipped with excellent lateral support, they have heating and a wide range of electrical adjustments. On the second sofa, only two adult passengers can comfortably accommodate, but this is a problem for most compact hatchbacks.
The luggage compartment also leaves much to be desired — only 285 liters, with the rear seats folded down, it increases to 500 liters.

Specifications

The Opel Corsa line of powertrains has gasoline and diesel engines, and an electric motor is also expected.
Power of gasoline engines from 70 to 100 hp, diesel — from 75 to 95 hp By default, the gearbox is mechanical, but the charged versions will optionally be equipped with an automatic machine.

Options and price

While the novelty is offered only in European markets, it is there that the first pre-orders are opened. About which versions will fall on the Russian market, while there is no exact information. Obviously, the configuration for the Russian and European markets will differ, this is due to the fact that Russia does not really favor small hatchbacks for a rather high cost.

The basic equipment is equipped with dignity, there will be 17-inch wheels, a rear spoiler, an immobilizer, an audio system with six speakers, an adaptive brake light, frontal airbags, electronic stabilization system, and an advanced anti-lock system.
Cruise control, a multimedia system, a sports suspension, numerous driver assistance systems, sports accessories, 18-inch wheels and much more are optionally available.

The cost of a new hatchback in the European market is from 11.4 thousand euros. For Russian buyers, the car will cost at least 850 thousand rubles. Among the main competitors are Renault Clio, Nissan Micra (for European markets), Ford Fiesta.
