Estrema Fulminea 2023.
Estrema Fulminea: Italian competitor Rimac Nevera wants to break the Nürburgring record.
Automobili Estrema, headquartered in Modena, Italy, plans to present a production version of its electric supercar Fulminea (the name translates from Italian as «lightning fast») in June this year and go to the Nürburgring in September to set a record time of passing the North Loop.
We already told about Automobili Estrema in May of the last year. It was founded by Gianfranco Pizzuto, having more than 30 years of experience in automobile business.
For some reason, Pizzuto’s involvement in the failed startup Fisker Automotive (not to be confused with Henrik Fisker’s current company) is especially prominent, but we want to believe that Automobili Estrema will do better.
Pizzuto and his team of experienced Italian engineers and managers want to produce electric sports cars with advanced technical stuffing.
The debut Fulminea, which went from sketches to full-size prototype last year, will be equipped with a four-engine powertrain (one at each wheel) with a combined output of 1.5 MW (2040 hp).
