The Rolls-Royce Wraith Black Badge received an «Overdose» body kit from Spofec.

The German tuning studio Spofec has unveiled the «Overdose» package for the Wraith coupe.

As a donor car, the tuners used a luxurious two-door “Black Badge”. Outside, they tweaked the body kit with chunky front and rear fenders with ventilation slots to provide better cooling for the braking system.

Spofec’s Rolls-Royce Wraith Overdose also draws attention with new bumpers, the installation of which has increased the downforce at high speeds.

A neat spoiler can be seen at the rear of the coupe, and on the wheels are 22-inch Vossen wheels, «shod» in tires 265/35 and 295/30 front and rear, respectively.

It is reported that the interior of the car in the workshop is ready to change according to the wishes of the client.

As for the technical stuffing, the tuners have managed to increase the output of the original 6.6-liter biturbo V12 with 632 hp. and 870 Nm to 717 forces and 986 Nm of torque.

It was possible to achieve similar performance due to the special N-Tronic module, and now the two-door is capable of accelerating from zero to hundred in 4.2 seconds.

The studio also installed a special module for air suspension, which lowers the ground clearance by 40 mm at a speed of over 140 km / h.

And if the arrow of the speedometer drops below this value, then the clearance automatically returns to its original value.

In total, the company will build only three copies of the Wraith Overdose. The cost of the modification has not been disclosed, but it promises to be high.

Even without the intervention of specialists from Spofec, the two-door Wraith is a very rare car.

For example, in 2020, the model found 71 buyers on the European market, and 46 on the Russian market. And not all of them belong to the Black Badge series.

Spofec has already tried on a body kit with extended Overdose fenders on a regular Rolls-Royce Wraith coupe. The image lost its harmony, but the bet was made on a small circulation — there were only eight of these two-door tuners.

Now the Germans have tackled the rarer Rolls-Royce Wraith Black Badge.

The all-black car has also been fitted with a widebody kit, new carbon fiber bumpers and 22-inch SP2 wheels custom-designed by Vossen.

And only three copies of such cars will be produced within the walls of the Spofec company.

For the Rolls-Royce Wraith Black Badge, the tuners offer a new air suspension control unit, which reduces the ground clearance by 40 mm at speeds up to 140 km / h.

But not a single appearance! The V12 6.6 engine with two turbochargers received a proprietary Spofec N-Tronic control module, with which the boost pressure rose and the calibration of the injection and ignition systems changed.

Recoil has increased to 717 hp. and 986 N • m, although from the factory these figures are quite decent — 632 and 870, respectively.

The thrust goes to the rear axle through an eight-speed «automatic» ZF 8HP90, which has not undergone modernization, and the acceleration time to hundreds was reduced from 4.5 to 4.2 s.

The maximum speed is electronically limited to 250 km / h, as is done on the donor.
