The Japanese company, according to sources, has introduced all of its most advanced technologies into the work on the car.

It should be said that at the moment many car brands suffer from strict environmental standards, and therefore they are united in various unions.

So, Suzuki, in collaboration with Toyota, has released two new models derived from the latter’s cars: Across (RAV4) and Swace (Corolla Sports Touring).

One of the main goals of these machines is to reduce the average level of emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere and not to lose customers.

With the new generation Vitara, the Japanese manufacturer is expected to offer a full hybrid powertrain (HEV) or even more, a rechargeable hybrid module (PHEV) variant.

Note that with the latest planned modernization, the developer has electrified the cross using a 48-volt starter generator.

The protagonist of this setup is the 1.4-liter Boosterjet gasoline engine, which is available with both manual and automatic transmissions, as well as four-wheel drive or front-wheel drive.

The central axis of the mechanical part of the 5th generation Vitara will be a new 1.5-liter gasoline engine, which the manufacturer will present later. And despite the race to reduce not only emissions, but also fuel consumption, Suzuki will continue to offer all-wheel drive versions of the SUV.

It is said that the size of the crossover will grow slightly, especially in width.

This will increase the space both in the passenger compartment and in the trunk. In terms of aesthetics, the novelty will continue to be recognizable as Vitara.

Major styling changes will affect the front. She will get a modern and dynamic look. The debut of the model is scheduled for 2022.
