Volvo XC90 is the largest car in the crossover family of Swedish automaker.

At the moment in Russia Volvo XC90 is offered with petrol and diesel engine, as well as hybrid power plant.

In the base performance crossover is due to turbocharged 2-liter, producing 249 horsepower. It is paired with automatic gearbox with 8 speeds.

In such execution the crossover will reach speed of 100 km/h only for 7,9 seconds, and the level of fuel consumption, in this case, makes 8,1 liters.

An alternative option in relation to the gasoline engine is a diesel unit. It has the same volume of 2 liters, but its power output is higher — 235 «horses». Similar power indicators of the engine allow it to accelerate the car from a place up to the first «hundred» in 7,8 seconds.

Traditionally, diesel units show good economy — in this case, diesel fuel consumption per 100 kilometers driven will be 5.7 liters.

The most expensive versions of the Volvo XC90 2022 will have a hybrid engine. The basis for this installation is a 2-liter turbo engine, the output of which is equal to 320 «horses.

In addition, the rear axle of the crossover has a 65 kW electric motor. Due to its presence the car is able to overcome up to 40 kilometers of distance solely on the basis of electric traction.

Such performance allows the model to accelerate to 100 km/h only in 5.6 seconds, and the level of fuel consumption, in this case, is stated at 2.5 liters. In any of the offered versions, the car is equipped with permanent all-wheel drive.

Regarding the dimensions and the main indicators of the crossover, we can highlight the following:

The base version of the Swedish model is the Momentum package, the price of which ranges from 5.08 to 5.59 million rubles.

The next version of the complete set, with prices ranging from 5.405 to 7.168 million rubles.

R-Design
The most expensive variant of the Swedish crossover, estimated at 5,606-7,369 million rubles.

Design

The appearance of the Volvo XC90 2022 is very laconic and classic. In the appearance of the crossover do not find sharp chopped relief and sharp transitions from one element to another.
