Aston Martin V12 Vantage 2023.

The Aston Martin V12 Vantage 2023 has been presented: the company’s latest model with a V12 engine.

Official premiere of the new Aston Martin V12 Vantage, which became the last V12-engined model of the British brand, took place on March 16, 22.

In contrast to the usual Vantage, the novelty has a modified body.

Its front bumper, hood, fenders and sill pads are made of carbon fiber, while the rear bumper here is made of lightweight composite.

There is a big antifender on the stern of the car, though it is possible to refuse it if you want.

At top speed, such a dodger generates 204 kg of downforce. The top version has 25% more front air intake, which contributes to more effective cooling of the engine compartment.

The British report that the Aston Martin V2 Vantage has received a stiffer body (+ 8%). For this purpose the coupe is equipped with additional reinforcements at the front and rear. Plus a «stretching» was installed between rear suspension struts.

At the same time the modification increased the track (+ 40 mm) and modified the adaptive suspension.

Spring stiffness was increased by 50% in the front and 40% in the rear. The front stabilizer bar also became stiffer (+ 5%), while the rear one, on the contrary, was made 40% more pliable.

The Aston Martin V12 Vantage is powered by a twin-turbocharged 5.2-liter twelve-cylinder engine.

It is an engine of its own design, which is already familiar from DB11 and DBS models.

At the presented coupe this unit produces 700 hp and 753 Nm, at the same time the base model with a V8 engine has 510 «horses» and 685 Nm of torque.

In conjunction with the motor works standard eight-speed automatic ZF, but here it is again reconfigured.

The steering was recalibrated, and in the base of this car has a limited slip differential.

Two-door by default put carbon ceramic brakes (- 23 kg compared to the steel), and the front axle has six-piston calipers and 410-millimeter discs, and the rear — four-piston and 360-millimeter.

The top-end version of the Vantage got a lighter exhaust system (-7.2 kg) and a smaller 12-volt battery.

However, in the curb weight of the coupe is still noticeably heavier than the base variant with a V8 — 1,795 kg (+ 110).

Because of this, the difference in dynamic characteristics of the models is purely symbolic.

Thus, acceleration from 0-100 km/h of the modification with a V12 is given for 3,5 seconds (- 0,1), and it is possible to accelerate it up to 322 km/h (+8).

The cost of the top Aston Martin Vantage V12 has not yet been advertised, with the shipment of the first cars to customers will begin in the second quarter of two thousand twenty-second.

It is expected that the company will finally say goodbye to the motor V12 in 2025, when Euro 7 standard will be introduced in Europe.
