A British Warwickshire-based company has unveiled a bespoke hypercar for one of its customers.

The model was named Victor, and the Q-division responsible for the so-called. customization of Aston Martin production vehicles.

Aston Martin presents unusual versions of its production models with enviable regularity, and their circulation often does not exceed several dozen copies.

However, this time, the engineers of the Q Division created a unique car built on the basis of the already small-run One 77 coupe using components from the Vulcan and Valkyrie hypercars.

However, the main feature of the new Aston Martin Victor coupe was an unusual design inspired by the V8 Vantage model, which was produced from 1977 to 1989. And the car was named after the British Victor Gauntlett, who ran Aston Martin in the eighties.

The car was created from scratch, but the platform, borrowed from the notorious Vulcan and One-77 models, became the starting point for its design.

They also gave the developers the technology for creating some components and body elements made of carbon fiber.

The exterior of the Aston Martin Victor was created with an eye on the models of the 1970s and 80s, which can be easily seen from the shape of the rear of the hypercar. At the front, the car offers an impressive «shark» design that echoes the exterior of a number of the brand’s current models.

Expensive leather trim is used inside the car, with numerous custom made accessories. Particularly noteworthy is the central tunnel, where British engineers were able to literally flaunt some elements of the mechanical transmission.

The design of the optics, the characteristic shape of the hood, trunk and radiator grille are made in the style of the V8 Vantage model, although in the cabin almost nothing reminds of it: with an abundance of carbon fiber, a racing steering wheel, screens of a combination of devices and a media system, Victor’s interior is much more like modern cars of the British brand.

Despite the retro design, the body of the car has good aerodynamic design: at a speed of 160 km / h, Victor develops more downforce than the track Vantage GT4.

Under the hood is a naturally aspirated 7.3-liter V12 engine from the One 77, which has been boosted from the original 760 hp. and 750 Nm to 847 hp. and 821 Nm!

But the surprises do not end there: in tandem with a powerful aspirated six-speed «mechanics» from Graziano! That is, the Victor has become the most powerful three-pedal car in the history of Aston Martin.

The drivetrain is equipped with a dual cooling system and a custom clutch mechanism, and Victor also received special carbon-ceramic brakes with six-piston calipers (380 mm discs front, 360 mm rear).

In pursuit of extra HP from. the engineers had to go to great lengths, in particular, to install a real sports clutch for transmission of torque, as well as two independent oil coolers.

In the suspension, however, there appeared shock absorbers with manual adjustment, allowing you to change the initially set «road» calibrations, and powerful Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes are designed to pacify the agility of this monster.

The company does not name the price of the Aston Martin Victor coupe — the car is built in a single copy.
