So, returning to the Avant, the hybrid will receive the same combination of independent suspension (MacPherson struts and multi-link), electric power steering, disc brakes in a circle with ventilation on the front axle, the original Quattro all-wheel drive and the latest S tronic (gearbox), which similar to other brand PHEV hybrids, an electric motor is sewn. For this generation, a gasoline turbo engine well-known across the entire range of “sixes” will be available, represented by a four-liter in-line 2-liter with an injection system. On the station wagon put the version of 252 hp at 370 Hm, which could also be seen on the Audi S3.

As for the transmission, as already mentioned, the internal combustion engine is paired with a proprietary 7-speed robot with a built-in 142 hp electric motor. (part is lost). Regarding the dynamics, engineers claim 5.7 seconds to hundreds, 250 km / h in the case of using a bunch of internal combustion engines and 135 km / h on the electric traction itself.
