Bentley Mulliner Batur 2023.

Bentley has declassified the Mulliner Batur limited edition sports car. The novelty is the most powerful production Bentley in history.

On August 21, 2022, the Bentley Mulliner Batur model officially premiered.

It’s a two-door coupe, supposedly in a new «modern design» that Bentley’s upcoming production electric cars will also try on in the future.

The Mulliner Batur’s signature grille is positioned slightly lower than usual.

At the same time the car has a minimalistic headlight design in the style of the Bacalar model and a neat front splitter.

In profile the two-door is notable for a long hood, aerodynamic side skirts and muscular rear fenders.

Its stern has a retractable spoiler and an eye-catching diffuser, which can be made of either carbon fiber or composite.

The model is mounted on 22-inch wheels, and its luxurious cabin can be fully customized according to the customer’s wishes.

For example, wooden décor and a number of buttons made on a 3D printer from 18-carat gold are offered for the interior.

The Grand Tourer is powered by a proprietary 6.0-liter twin-turbo W12, working with an eight-speed robot.

Especially for this model, the engine has been further improved. In particular, it received a new intake, modified turbines and more efficient intercoolers.

Two-door is equipped with a titanium exhaust system. All this allowed to raise the output of the unit to 750 hp and 1,000 Nm.

By the way, it is 81 hp and 100 Nm of torque more than the Continental GT Speed.

The Mulliner Batur was designed by Bentley’s design director Andreas Mindt and his team, who ‘revolutionized’ the design DNA of the Bentley Continental GT, Flying Spur and Bentayga to bring the new style to the brand’s upcoming electric cars.

Characteristic features of the novelties are a long hood, mounted lower and more vertical grille, headlights and lights of a new shape.

The construction of each car will take several months of manual work and buyers will have the opportunity to choose the car’s design, including the decoration of the smallest details.

Especially for the Mulliner Batur, new 22-inch wheels and the new Natural Fibre material, a more environmentally friendly alternative to carbon fiber, have been created.

In addition, low-carbon leather from Scotland, eco-friendly leather from Italy, artificial and suede-like material Dinamica, and unique carpets made of recycled yarn are offered for the interior.

Decorative interior elements can be made of titanium or 3D-printed 18-karat gold.

The Mulliner Batur gets the most powerful W12 in Bentley’s history. The gasoline engine features a new intake system, upgraded turbochargers, new intercoolers, and a reprogrammed control unit, making 740 horsepower from the 6-liter displacement.

Drive Dynamics Control combats roll by means of 48-volt anti-roll bars, and the electronic limited slip differential (eLSD) is responsible for better traction and efficient redistribution of traction.

A traction vectoring system and carbon-ceramic brakes are also available as standard equipment.

A total of 18 units of the Bentley Mulliner Batur will be made, each of which will be hand-assembled at the factory in Crewe.

All cars are already sold out — the first cars are expected to be delivered to customers in mid-2023.
