
BMW 8-Series 2023.
The updated 2023 BMW 8-Series family has been officially unveiled.
At the ongoing Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance, BMW unveiled the redesigned 8-Series family: the coupe, the Gran Coupe convertible and several M8 Series models.
The 50th anniversary of the M Division was also celebrated here. According to the published information, the BMW 8-Series 2023 has undergone minor changes.
Thus, the whole family of Bavarian models has received a new grille with illumination, which retained its previous compact dimensions.
Some products of BMW 8-Series equipped with V8 engine are now equipped with aerodynamically optimized side mirrors, which are installed on M8 by default.
The sporty M-package has also become a basic option for the Bavarian novelties.
The interior of the BMW 8-Series 2023 has appeared multi-function seats, leather steering wheel, decorated in a sporty style, and a number of other decorative changes characteristic of M-Series models.
Additionally, the entire Bavarian range has received a 12.3-inch touchscreen monitor.
Previously, they were equipped with a 10.25-inch touchscreen. The sporty M8s were updated with new wheels, body tones and original front headlights.
BMW does not disclose details about the technical part of the updated family. But probably the Bavarian models are still equipped with a 3-liter turbocharged engine, producing up to 320 hp and 680 N*m.
Optionally, the BMW 8-Series will be offered with a 4.4-liter twin-turbo unit that develops 530 hp and 750 N*m.
Each of the motors comes with an 8-speed «automatic» that redistributes traction to all wheels.
Exit dates of the updated BMW 8-Series on the market are not announced yet.
