BMW M5 CS Manhart 2021. Manhart MH5 GTR: a modified version of the top sedan M5 CS.

The tuning project is called GTR. The car got different rims and carbon fiber body elements.

Manhart has presented a modification MH5 GTR, which is a modified BMW M5 CS. The car has a dark blue «Moonlight» vinyl body, which is additionally decorated with branded gray stripes.

The standard for the model gold accents here are replaced by darker ones. So, the grille is silver and the «gills» on the front fenders are black.

In this tuners kept yellow LED headlights and carbon fiber aerokit, and the factory wheels were abandoned in favor of the new 21-inch «rollers.

The latter are black and «shod» in tires size 275/30 and 295/30 in front and rear, respectively.

The Manhart MH5 GTR is also available with an optional exhaust system which is made of stainless steel and has four carbon-fiber 102 millimeter diameter nozzles.

The interior was trimmed with black leather with red stitching and the same accents. The car also received carbon fiber bucket seats and alcantara-covered steering wheel with a nameplate of the studio.

Manhart’s modified BMW M5 CS is powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8, which has been increased from the original 635 hp and 750 Nm to 788 hp and 935 Nm of torque.

This was achieved by installing a carbon intake and proprietary MHtronic module.

The company did not forget about the suspension of the «charged» four-door — the car is equipped with adjustable coilovers firm KW, allowing to make the steering of the model even more accurate.

To all appearances, the Manhart MH5 GTR is a one-off construction, and the first vehicle will be available for viewing at the Munich Motor Show in September 2021.

The studio didn’t name the price of this unique car, but if a stock M5 CS costs $142,000 (10.5 million rubles at the current exchange rate), then it’s definitely more expensive.

However, besides updated exterior, the sedan from Mahnhart has a more productive engine. Tuners increased its power by 150 hp, to 788 «horses» (935 Nm).

To achieve these results the specialists of Mahnhart replaced the control unit and installed carbon fiber air intake pipes, and finalized the exhaust system, installing under the rear bumper four nozzles. Dynamic characteristics are not specified.

The model also received special electronically controlled valves for a more aggressive sound.

BMW is preparing to show a BMW iX5 Hydrogen crossover that runs on hydrogen fuel at the IAA auto show in Munich, Germany.

The BMW iX5 Hydrogen crossover will have a maximum output of 170 horsepower.
