Buick Envista GS 2023.

The Buick Envista is the first coupe-shaped crossover of the American brand.

At the end of August, Buick Envista premiered at the Chengdu 2022 auto show in China.

First of all, the presented car is characterized by the presence of «shark nose».

Predatory «face» is formed by narrow LED-lights and wide grille, which is installed with a slight negative slope.

The new Buick Envista can also boast of being the first in the range to receive a new brand nameplate.

And also a «sports» version with prefix «GS» in the name is already prepared for it.

You can distinguish the latter from the basic version by a characteristic black decor, mesh grille and 18-inch wheels with red brake calipers. The interior of this Parkett has a dark finish.

The cabin of the Envista is characterized by two 10.25-inch displays, placed on a single panel without a visor.

Interestingly, the developers did not refuse to use analog buttons: the central console has the usual climate control unit.

By the way, the base model has a usual air conditioner, but the more expensive versions are equipped with single zone climate control.

Other equipment includes an audio system Arkamys with a subwoofer, all-around cameras, panoramic roof and electric front seats.

Front fascia trim with perforated leather can be ordered for extra charge.

Buick Envista is an entry-level model in the modern crossover family of the American brand.

It is built on a simple VSS-F platform with a transverse engine arrangement and a rear semi-dependent suspension with a Watt mechanism (like the Buick Encore GX and Chevrolet Trailblazer).

According to the developers, the presented model achieves length of 4,638 mm, width of 1,816 mm and height of 1,565 mm.

Wheelbase is stated at the level of 2 700 mm. The car is set in motion by the non-alternative 1,5-liter «turbo four» Ecotec engine with 184 hp capacity.

It works in a combination with a variator and a drive is forward. Acceleration from a place up to a hundred is possible for 7,9 seconds.

Manufacturing Parkett will take a joint venture SAIC-GM, and the market Celestial Model should debut as early as the fall of the twenty-second at a price of 22,000 dollars (1.3 million rubles at current exchange rates).

It is possible that then the car will also appear in the U.S..
