Cadillac Escalade-V 2023.

GM has shown what the «charged» Cadillac Escalade-V will look like.

Cadillac has finally decided to enter the market of high-performance SUVs and partially declassified the Escalade-V.

Cadillac has published several photos and one video showing its «charged» Escalade-V SUV version 2023 model year.

The novelty shows a new design and promises to impress with a lot of power.

We don’t know much about the 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V. Rumors about this version of the SUV have been around for years, but they have become reality only now.

Any details about the novelty remain largely unknown, but today Cadillac presents the first official look at the new high-performance SUV.

Full premiere is scheduled for spring of the twenty-second, but so far in the network there is only basic information and a few photos.

In terms of exterior design, «charged» Cadillac Escalade-V has a lot of decisions from the usual Escalade 5 in Sport and Sport Platinum versions.

In particular, it has a similar fine-meshed radiator grille and ubiquitous black decor.

At the same time the high-performance SUV is additionally equipped with a more sporty bumper and with pronounced air intakes, with the side ones having a triangular shape (as on CT4-V Blackwing and CT5-V Blackwing).

The stern of the model is again equipped with a different bumper. The latter is notable for a developed diffuser with four nozzles of the exhaust system.

Additionally the car has special alloy wheels with red calipers, and colorful V-Series badges on the doors.

While the automaker has published only one photo of Cadillac Escalade-V cabin.

This picture shows the car has leather-wrapped steering wheel with the V-Series logo mentioned above.

It is likely that the top model will keep the familiar curved OLED display on the front end, consisting of a 14.2-inch digital dashboard, 7.2-inch center screen with driver information, and a 16.9-inch touchscreen multimedia system.

There is no information about the technical «stuffing» of the top Escalade yet.

Cadillac has done a remarkable job of keeping the Escalade V-Series a well-guarded secret.

We have no idea what engine will be under the hood of the novelty, but rumors suggest that the «charged» Cadillac SUV will use the supercharged V8 engine used in the CT5-V Blackwing and Chevy Camaro ZL1.

The Escalade already has a 420-horsepower 6.2-liter V8. The Blackwing engine makes 668 hp, and the Camaro boasts 650 hp from the same engine.

While we lack any specific details about the SUV, we do get some visual information in the form of published photos, and surprisingly, it looks like a pretty regular Escalade.

However, the new SUV has its own distinctive visual touches. It has a unique front end design with a new mesh grille and redesigned lower bumper.

The daytime running lights also have new, sportier-looking housings.

At the rear, everything is a little thinner, but there’s new lower trim, and it’s impossible not to notice the four big round exhaust tips.

We get one image of the interior that shows the new V badge on the steering wheel, though we suspect there will be other V-Series-style interior touches.

Adding to the Escalade-V’s unique aesthetic is a darkened trim that replaces the chrome parts.

It is expected that the American SUV will get 6.2-liter compressor V8 series LT4 from CT5-V Blackwing, which develops 677 hp and 893 Nm on the sedan.

If true, the «charged» variant of the SUV will be at once 251 horsepower and 270 Nm of torque more productive than the original Escalade, which settles for an atmospheric 6.2 V8.
