Chevrolet Beast Concept 2022.

Chevrolet has introduced to the public a real beast on wheels. The new concept car Beast Concept should take the popularity of high-performance pickups to another level.

The vehicle is based on the Chevrolet Silverado and is equipped with a powerful LT4 engine.

The official debut of the Chevrolet Beast Concept pickup was held at the SEMA Show 2021.

Components from Trucks and Performance models were used. The result is very impressive in appearance and power concept car.

The starting point for creation of the model is a chassis from Chevrolet Silverado with a short body.

The chassis from the Chevrolet Silverado was modified so that the new pickup could easily drive through the desert at high speeds.

The frame of the vehicle was shortened and a special tubular fuse was built into it. It makes sense that the American pickup has a long-travel suspension. And more importantly, it was designed specifically for the Chevrolet Beast Concept.

«Shoes» the new concept car in 20-inch Beadlock wheels with 37-inch off-road tires. To keep this beast under control, the car is equipped with a high-performance braking system.

As for the interior, the cabin has four individual Recaro seats with a retention system and seat belts. Also, the American model is equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen display, which displays all useful information for the driver.

«The heart» of the new Chevrolet Beast Concept is a powerful 6.2-liter turbocharged V8 engine.

This power unit is able to generate 659 hp. It is paired with a 10-speed automatic gearbox. Naturally, the truck has all-wheel drive system. Chevrolet company does not intend to launch mass production of Beast Concept pickup yet.

Brutal Chevrolet SUV based on the military vehicle.

Chevrolet Beast is very similar to the GM Defense ISV, but has a 650-horsepower engine and Raptor-Fighting suspension.

The Chevrolet Beast concept was prepared for the SEMA show, and don’t expect the model to go on sale anytime soon. But the civilian version of the military vehicle, as it was with the Hummer, can’t be ruled out.

Like the GM Defense ISV, the Beast is based on the Chevrolet Silverado pickup. Its frame is welded from pipes, and on the sides small doors are added. There is a «chandelier» on the roof, and a pair of full-size spare wheels in the «trunk.»

While the GM Defense ISV is equipped with a 2.8-liter turbodiesel rated at 189 hp and 500 Nm, the «Beast» gets a turbocharged 6.2-liter V8 Chevrolet Performance LT4 engine with 659 hp.

The torque is transmitted to all wheels through a 10-speed automatic and two-speed transfer case.

The suspension is completely unique. There are upper and lower arms with adjustable struts and outriggers in the front, and a Pannar link rod and adjustable shock absorbers in the rear.

The SUV has 37-inch off-road tires mounted on 20-inch rims. Ground clearance of the vehicle reaches more than 34 centimeters.

Two seven-inch LCD displays and four Recaro racing seats with four-point seat belts are installed in the «interior».
