Chevrolet Seeker 2022.

The new Chevrolet Seeker crossover has been revealed ahead of schedule.

The compact parkette is distinguished by fashionable headlights, with only one engine announced. China will be the debut market for the model.

Snapshots of the new Chevrolet crossover appeared in the database of China’s Ministry of Industry.

Judging by the nameplate on the stern, the model is called Seeker. By the way, the brand SUV has not yet announced, moreover, photographers did not even come across camouflaged prototypes, similar to the parketnik.

Chevrolet Seeker’s length is 4537 mm, width — 1823 mm, height — 1564 mm (with rails — 1572 mm), wheelbase — 2700 mm.

That is the new Seeker is slightly larger, but lower than the Chevrolet Trailblazer.

Dimensions of the latter (in Chinese specifications): 4411/1808/1633 mm, distance between axles — 2640 mm.

Just like Trailblazer, Seeker received double-deck headlamp, but located on top of the running lights made quite narrow.

The chrome plaque on the grille has split ends.

Tail lights are separate, with pronounced «horseshoes».

The Parkette will use 17- or 18-inch wheels. Chevrolet Seeker is also offered in a «sporty» RS version with black and red interior. The interior hasn’t been revealed yet.

The engine is claimed to be the same — 1.5 gasoline «turbo four» with 179 hp.

There is no information about gearboxes, as well as if all-wheel drive is available for the crossover.

Chevrolet Trailblazer in China is presented with «turbo» 1.3, 165 hp, which is combined with a variator or a nine-speed «automatic». Drive is either front or all-wheel drive.

In China, sales of Chevrolet Seeker are expected to start by the end of this year.

Most likely, the new crossover will get to other countries, since the Trailblazer, which made its debut market in China, is a global model (prior to the known events, it was delivered to the Russian Federation).

The Chevrolet Seeker will add to the range of crossovers of the brand.

An unexpected novelty has appeared in online database of Chinese certification body.

This is a crossover Chevrolet Seeker, which has never appeared before in the plans of General Motors concern.

So far there are only two photos of the car and brief information.

Judging by the size listed in the certificate, the Seeker is a big brother of the well-known Chevrolet Trailblazer.

If the Trailblazer in China is offered with 1.3 turbo engine (165 hp), the Chevrolet Seeker will be equipped with supercharged 1.5 engine with 179 hp.

No other details about the technology are available yet. And the debut date is still unclear. Most likely, the Seeker will be unveiled near the end of the year.
