Chevrolet Seeker: the «big brother» of Trailblazer was presented in China.

At the end of July 22, the company Chevrolet introduced in China a new crossover Seeker, which was developed with the direct participation of local joint venture SAIC-GM.

In fact, this is the «older brother» of the Chevrolet Trailblazer, which is notable from the outside with double-deck optics with narrow strips of LED lights and decorative crosspiece on frameless grille.

The car also has eye-catching black trim around the perimeter of the body and is mounted on stylish 18-inch rims.

However, such appearance is characteristic only for the top RS-version of the model, while the base version has not yet been presented, but its design will obviously be simpler, with wheels diameter of 17″.

The interior of the car is designed in the style of the recent Chevrolet Tracker RS.

In particular, there are two 10.25-inch screens on the front panel, and the touchscreen multimedia system is turned nine degrees in the direction of the driver.

It is reported that the entertainment complex is based on a new operating system Xiaoxue.

It has wireless support for Apple CarPlay and an «over the air» update function.

Front seats of the crossover can boast of electric adjustments, heating and ventilation, but the rear seats are deprived of all these comforts.

A panoramic roof and electric trunk can be ordered for extra charge.

Chevrolet Seeker 2023 has a length of 4 537 mm (+ 126 mm compared with the Chinese Trailblazer), and its wheelbase is 2 700 mm (+ 60).

The width of the car is claimed to be 1,823 mm (+ 15) and the height is 1,564 mm (- 100).

Under the hood is 1.5-liter turbo four with direct injection from the mentioned Tracker RS.

The given unit gives out 179 hp, working in a sheaf with a variator. The car can be driven only by front-wheel drive.

In China, the serial production of crossover Sicker will be launched in the autumn of the twenty-second.

Then the model will debut on the local market. Interestingly, in time it will also appear in other markets.

For example, the camouflaged cars were spotted on the roads of Michigan (USA), not far from the General Motors headquarters.

This means that in North America, the crossover will also be introduced.

As for the price, the novelty will definitely prove to be more expensive than the same Trailblazer, for which they ask from 20,700 dollars (1,260,000 rubles at the current exchange rate).

A more accurate figure will be announced closer to the start of sales.
