Cupra has unveiled the Leon VZ Cup with new wheels and bucket seats.

Cupra has released a new version of the Leon called «VZ Cup» that adds visual drama and sportiness to its sister model to the VW Golf GTI.

The Cupra Leon VZ Cup is available with both an electric motor and a plug-in hybrid powertrain as the flagship of the lineup.

Motorists can choose their favorite option between hatchback and Sportstourer bodies.

Starting with the design, the VZ Cup features 19-inch Exclusive II wheels with copper inlays to match the Cupra emblems.

Other details include dark aluminum side skirts and a carbon fiber rear spoiler.

In addition, it retains the sporty Cupra Leon dodger with large bumper intakes, four tailpipes and a diffuser.

The highlight of the interior is the bucket-shaped «supersport» seats with strong support, upholstered in black or blue leather.

There is also a Cupra mode selector on the steering wheel and leather upholstery on the dashboard.

The maximum package gets a long list of standard equipment, including a 10.25-inch digital dashboard and a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment screen.

The Cupra Leon is either powered by either a 2.0 TSI engine with 296 hp or a 1.4 e-Hybrid transmission with 242 hp.

The former is paired with a 7-speed DSG and the latter with a 6-speed DSG.

Thus, in both cases the power is transferred to the front wheels.

In addition, the Sportstourer VZ Cup is also available in an all-wheel drive 4Drive version with the more powerful 306 hp version of the 2.0 TSI.

As for prices, the Cupra Leon VZ Cup 2.0 TSI hatchback costs from 47,160 euros or 4 million 98 thousand rubles in Germany, and the 1.4 e-Hybrid — from 46,670 euros (4 million 56 thousand rubles).
