Ford Mustang 2024.

On September 14, at the International Auto Show in Detroit 2022, Ford Mustang of the new (seventh generation) was premiered.

In terms of exterior design, the presented muscle car largely repeats its predecessor.

In other words, in the strict look of the American two-door with a factory index «S650», one can still guess the references to the classic model, produced in 1964-1970.

The presented car is perceived as a 100% Mustang. It has the trademark three-part headlights and lights, as well as wide wheel arches.

The last one has 17-inch wheels by default, at the same time the senior version of the model has 19-inch rollers. And for an extra fee you can order 20″ wheels.

Traditionally, there will be two types of body to choose from — a fastback and a convertible.

Specifically the closed version of the two-door differs from the previous generation with a longer roof line.

The developers point out that this was done to facilitate boarding / unloading when wearing a helmet.

Interestingly, the senior version of the V8 GT has a unique «face» design.

It got another front splitter, enlarged air intakes and «humped» hood.

A «Bronze Design Series» package is available.

It implies the use of bronze-colored nameplates and wheels of «Sinister Bronze» shade.

In general, the personalization options for the model are very wide. Thus, for the car offers eleven body shades, twelve variants of wheel designs and three colors of Brembo brake calipers.

And also customers will be able to design the body of their cars with the help of effective strips.

And there is a real revolution in the interior of the new Mustang, and some solutions the Americans as if they’ve picked up from their colleagues from BMW.

In the base the car has 12,4-inch digital dashboard, and for extra 13,2-inch touchscreen of multimedia system SYNC4 with a voice assistant Amazon Alexa is available.

Both screens are housed on a single panel without a visor. Their use has reduced the number of analog keys to a minimum: most functions are now controlled from the central screen.

The car also got a new steering wheel with a beveled bottom rim. Other modern solutions include wireless charging for smartphones (optional).

Interestingly, the developers have provided a USB-connector on the ceiling. Its main purpose is to connect your DVR or action camera without wires.

The base trim is fabric, while the more expensive versions flaunt contrast stitching and a special decor.

Well, the GT-division can brag of leather inserts on seats.

New Ford Mustang 2023-2024 is equipped with well known from its predecessor engines, and there are no hybrids in the lineup.

The new Mustang is still available with rear drive.

A 2,3-liter «turbo four» EcoBoost is put in base, while more expensive versions are already with atmospheric 5,0-liter Coyote V8.

Unfortunately, performance of motors is not announced yet, but both units have allegedly been upgraded.

According to the developers, specifically the older engine has received some innovative intake system that allowed to increase its performance.

We shall remind you that on the model of the outgoing generation the younger motor produces 314 hp and 476 Nm, and the older one — 466 hp and 569 Nm of torque. On the new model these figures should be a bit higher.

As before, both versions of the model can be ordered both with a six-speed manual and a ten-speed automatic.

At the same time the Americans have revised the control program. Performance Pack» package is offered for extra charge.

It includes wider rear wheels and high-performance Brembo brakes with 390- and 355-millimeter calipers in the front and rear respectively.

Plus it adds a front strut strut and an electronically controlled Torsen rear differential.

Adaptive MagneRide dampers, an active exhaust system and Recaro sport seats are also available for cars with this package on top.

The base new Mustang also has a wide range of electronic assistants.

In particular, it is equipped with adaptive cruise control with a start-stop function and a traffic sign recognition system.

And with the change of generation, the muscle car received an electronic handbrake for drifting.

Handle of the parking brake looks absolutely the same as on the predecessor, but for the management of the rear brakes is responsible electronics.

The idea is that such a solution will allow novice drivers to learn how to drift faster.

In the States sales of the new Mustang will begin in the summer of the twenty-third, with the cost of the model has not yet been announced. Most likely it will be the last generation of the maslkar with an internal combustion engine.
