The bottom of the front end demonstrates the smooth curves of the figured bumper, cooling diffusers of the disc brakes and a compact plastic body kit.
In the photo in the side projection, the 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E attracts attention with a gentle slope of the coupe-shaped roof, matte plastic trim of the side windows, modern mirrors, as well as a harmonious combination of wave and stepped relief decor.
The sporty character of the electric car can be seen in the low body position, the absence of protruding body parts and the increased diameter of the branded rims.

On the front, the digital display serves as a multi-mode instrument cluster, while the traditional center console is replaced by a 15-inch vertical tablet that performs media and command functions.
The control buttons for many, including the comfort-generating options, are placed on the front surface of the multifunction steering wheel. In the construction of the tunnel:
• paired set of cup holders;
• washer for switching the running modes of the transmission;
• a standard set of organizers and a spacious compartment for travel small things hidden under a wide armrest.
The salon is designed for five seats. The driver and side passenger seats offer full lateral support, several operational adjustments and standard service functions.
The second row seats are designed as a fairly spacious sofa with an adjustable backrest and the possibility of converting the middle segment into a comfortable armrest.
The new body has two luggage compartments. The volume of the front one is only 140 liters, the rear compartment in the stowed position can take a load of 822 liters, and after laying the sofa backs — 1689 liters.
Specifications
In the first generation, the 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E is based on the Ford GE2 platform, adapted for electric drive, made of composites and light aluminum alloys. With a body length, width and height of 4724×1880 and 1597 mm, the electric car looks compact and dynamic.
The chassis is characterized by a fully independent MacPherson and multi-link suspension, a center base length of 2,984 mm, 145 mm ground clearance, a set of lateral stability stabilizers, effective disc brakes and safety systems.
The basic version of the electric car is equipped with a tandem of a 255-horsepower electric motor and a 76 kW battery. The top modifications will receive power units with a power output of 282 and 332 hp. and rechargeable batteries with a range of up to 480 km.
The test drive confirmed the dynamics of speed gain, respectively, 6.5 and 5.5 seconds. The characteristics of proprietary charging systems allow you to restore the capacity of the onboard batteries to 80% in just 40 minutes.
Options and prices
In the global market, the new 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E will be offered in five main modifications. The selling price of the crossover in the basic configuration is stated in the range of 35.4-36 thousand dollars. The cost of the all-wheel drive model expected in the future is slightly more than 60 thousand.
Competing models
In the list of real rivals, the Tesla Model 3 of the same type in terms of cost and parameters is in the lead. The latest versions of BMW I3, Ford Focus Electric and several analogues of the Korean car industry claim the status of competitors.
