Americans unveiled the 2,000-horsepower Ford Pro Electric SuperVan.

The Ford Pro Electric SuperVan electric van premiered at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2022.

This vehicle was developed by Ford Performance division with the direct participation of Ford Design Germany and STARD, an Austrian company.

The presented minivan has the most streamlined body design and developed aerodynamic kit.

At the same time it almost has no common parts with the commercial vans Ford, although it uses a number of components from the E-Transit Custom.

Inside the vehicle is equipped with FIA racing seats and safety cage.

And also here is a multimedia system, borrowed directly from Mustang Mach-E. Ford Pro Electric SuperVan is built on the basis of a steel space frame, while its exterior panels are made of composite materials.

The power plant of the van consists of four electric motors, which in total produce 2,000 hp.

Power for their work they get from a battery with a capacity of 50 kWh. The latter is liquid-cooled and can be recharged in just 45 minutes.

It is reported that the electric car is able to shoot from a place to a hundred in less than 2.0 seconds, making it the most powerful and fastest van in the world.

At the same time, its power plant has five modes of operation, the most sedentary of which is «Road».

There is also Drag (for maximum acceleration on drag stripes) and Drift (for side slip), while the presets Rally (for asphalt and gravel tracks) and Track (for track races) also imply the use of appropriate rally or racing tires.

Interestingly, Ford engineers can adjust the settings of the electric car literally on the fly.

The fact is that the van is equipped with a special system that communicates with a remote server in real time.

And also the minivan has a function «Tyre Cleaning Mode». When you activate it, one of the axles is blocked, which allows you to achieve an effective barnout.

Other equipment includes launch control, pit lane speed limiter, three-level recuperation system and traction control.
