Ford Shelby Mustang Hertz 2022. A 912-horsepower Shelby Mustang Hertz and Shelby made for a car rental service and Shelby will put 25 wild fastbacks on the streets of American cities.

The Shelby American workshop together with the largest car rental service Hertz have prepared an unusual marketing action.

It will be possible to rent unique Mustang GT500-H with boosted up to 912 horsepower engine and lightened bodywork from June in 11 cities in the USA.

A day’s rental will cost $399. Hertz will also have a more affordable Mustang GT-H with an atmospheric V8 Coyote for $99 a day.

The «rental» Ford Mustang GT500-H is a real exclusive. Only 25 fastbacks with forged wheels, special tires, tinted windows, special decor by Shelby American and a carbon fiber hood are made.

The main improvement is the V8 5.2 Predator turbo engine, boosted from 770 to 912 horsepower.

It is known that Shelby supercars will be available in Miami, Orlando, Fort Myers and Tampa Bay (all Florida), Las Vegas (Nevada) and Phoenix (Arizona).

Of the 25 rental cars, 19 will be painted black and gold, and the remaining six in a white and gold livery in honor of Shelby American’s 60th anniversary.

The Mustang GT-H will also receive special coloring, and the palette of colors will be wider — red and gray will be available in addition to white and black.

Fastbacks and convertibles will be different from the Mustangs with Coyote engine with 20-inch black alloy wheels, original hood, taillight panel and custom Borla tailpipe. The atmospheric V8 will develop the same 456 horsepower.

Hertz is expected to offer the 912-horsepower Mustangs for three years.

The company has experience renting unique cars — for example, in 2019, a 760-horsepower Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, modified by Hendrick Motorsport, was available for rent.
