Geely Galaxy 2024.

Geely introduced the new Galaxy brand and showed the first two models from the subfamilies.

That Geely intended to take the global market by storm with a line of electric vehicles is an undeniable reality.

Another novelty from the Asian auto giant is called Geely Galaxy.

This is a range of hybrid and electric models from the premium segment, filled with technology and futuristic design.

Geely has declassified what is hidden behind a mysterious teaser published a few weeks ago, hiding a large sedan with avant-garde design.

This is not just a model, but a line of seven new products that will be produced from the end of 2023 in China. Three of them will appear this year.

It is possible that the models will be sold in other markets. The new Geely Galaxy lineup includes four hybrids and three electric versions.

The company will kick off with a crossover hybrid technology known as the Galaxy L7.

Its commercialization in the Asian giant is almost inevitable, as it is scheduled for the second quarter of the year.

Geely will continue to release an impressive sedan called the Galaxy L8, which will appear in the third quarter.

Galaxy E8 will be released in the last quarter of the year. This is the first of the electric models in this new line.

The company introduced only a luxury sedan with huge proportions.

Its front end is dominated by slim headlights reminiscent of the Polestar Precept and a wide, illuminated bumper grille.

In the cabin, the instrument panel has a large horizontal screen that extends to the front row passenger without being connected to the center tunnel.

The novelty is based on the SEA platform, which it shares with Polestar and Smart.

The Geely hybrid will be powered by a NordThor 8848 powerplant and a powerful Aegis battery fitted with a special seal that prevents leakage in the event of an accident.

The maximum autonomy is 1370 km with a fuel tank.

The first-born Geely Galaxy is already ready for production: the L7 crossover debuted right at the conference.

We are talking about a mid-size model: length / width / height are 4700/1905/1685 mm, respectively, wheelbase — 2785 mm.

The basis of the novelty is the Volvo e-CMA modular platform, and the closest “relative” is the second-generation Atlas. The similarity is obvious if we compare the window sill line and the molding of the sidewalls.
