Genesis Electrified G80 2023.
Within the framework of the Shanghai Motor Show 2021, the Genesis company has presented its first electric model — the Electrified G80 sedan.
It is possible to recognize the novelty from the usual version Genesis G80 only by a larger radiator grill, which is actually just a plug.
At the same time the car can be ordered either in Matira Blue, or in Dark Green color.
The interior of the model is made of environmentally friendly materials and recycled materials.
Thus, the seats and the center console here are covered with leather, dyed with natural dyes.
Plus, the interior is characterized by wooden décor from the waste products of the furniture industry.
The «green» sedan also received an Active Noise Control-Road (ANC-R) system, which minimizes the noise level in the cabin due to special sensors and microphones.
In terms of technology the Genesis Electrified G80 has two electric motors, which together produce 365 hp and 700 Nm.
According to the developers, from a place to a hundred all-wheel drive sedan can accelerate in 4.9 seconds.
Interestingly, the car is equipped with Disconnector Actuator System (DAS), which allows you to connect or disconnect one of the electric motors, thereby making it mono-drive.
The company does not disclose the capacity of the lithium-ion battery, but it is known that it can provide a range of more than 500 km (according to the NEDC cycle).
The battery itself runs at 400/800 volts and supports charging up to 350 kilowatts.
It takes only 22 minutes to replenish its charge from 10 to 80%. Another feature of the new Genesis Electrified G80 is the Vehicle to Load (V2L) bi-directional charging technology.
It allows you to connect a variety of external devices with up to 3.6 kilowatts of power.
The priority market for the electric G80 will be China, although the sedan can be purchased in other countries. Terms of appearance of the four-door on sale and its price have not been announced yet.
