GMC Yukon Denali Ultimate 2023.

The new GMC Yukon Denali Ultimate comes close to a Cadillac.

American GMC Yukon SUVs are more status and expensive versions of Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban cars.

About 60% of Yukon buyers traditionally choose the richest Denali version, though it still falls short of the full-fledged «premium».

And now an even more expensive Denali Ultimate variant has been added to the range, which has shortened the distance between the GMC Yukon and Cadillac Escalade models a little bit more.

By the way, for the first time such complete set appeared last year in the related GMC Sierra pickup.

The main thing is interior’s richness: Denali Ultimate version has multicontour front seats with vibromassager and Bose audio system, which has 18 speakers, including four ones in front headrests.

Expensive leather is used for the seats, the inserts on the front panel and doors are made of wood veneer with open pores, and in addition the interior is decorated with fragments of a topographical map of Mount Denali (Alaska).

GMC Yukon Denali Ultimate differs from «usual» Denali only outside with black chrome finishing (instead of traditional shiny) and standard 22-inch wheels (for extra charge they can be ordered for Denali variant as well).

But the new top version is the first in the range has gained Super Cruise — adaptive cruise control with the function of auto guidance while driving on the highway.

So far, 320,000 miles of roads in the U.S. and Canada have been approved for its operation.

Until now, Super Cruise has been the prerogative of the older Cadillac Escalade model.

GMC Yukon Denali Ultimate is offered with a petrol atmospheric V8 6.2 (426 hp) or inline six-cylinder turbodiesel 3.0 (281 hp).

Both engines are paired with a ten-speed automatic and all-wheel drive with a downshift.

Standard equipment includes an air suspension with electronically controlled Magnetic Ride shock absorbers.

GMC Yukon Denali Ultimate SUVs will go on sale in the fall, and will be priced in Cadillac territory.

The base Escalade now costs $76,000 in the U.S., and the GMC Yukon Denali is priced at $74,000 for the all-wheel drive GMC.

The new GMC Yukon Denali Ultimate will be introduced in the 2023 model year.
