Haval H6S Coupe 2022. Mid-sized crossover Haval H6 that will change its generation in 2020, will get a coupe version H6S — it became known last spring, and by the end of summer the Chinese company decided to reveal almost all the details about its virtually new model.

At least the exterior of the coupe-like H6S car was developed without looking back at the base parketnik H6, and for inspiration designers studied images of a black shark.

In accordance with the chosen stylistics was developed «predatory» front end, not without «teeth» and the traditional fin, but the main surprise was the power part, which was announced as a hybrid.

Review

Today, all of its new vehicles Great Wall division builds on a modular platform L.E.M.O.N.

It got both actual H6, and cute Big Dog, and coupe-like H6S, which predetermined beforehand the following dimensions of a new crossover: 4714x1940x1729 mm with wheelbase of 2738 mm.

The chassis consists of McPherson struts in the front and multileaf rear, which should provide good handling and softness of the suspension.

Also, the new «bogie» does not put restrictions on the types and number of the most advanced onboard systems, so Haval H6S 2022 model year, as well as its fellow H6, will be able to compete in the market with all popular classmates: Toyota RAV4, Mitsubishi Outlander, Honda CR-V, etc.

Body

Chinese «black shark» has a rather unusual body design with an abundance of black plastic parts.

This is a trapezoidal radiator grille, a large molding, going along the center of the bumper, and the splitter, and side air ducts, made under the «teeth».

Complete the image of shark «face» eyes-headlights, which look expressive due to the lack of separate running lights or fog lights.

Wheel arches, sills and rear bumper are also generously decorated with unpainted black plastic, and the stern is crowned with a «duck tail», apparently playing the role of another spoiler.

Larger aerodynamic structure is located over the rear window just behind the «fin», and in profile all these elements form a kind of a fish comb.

Interior

Chinese have revealed the interior of their coupe-type Haval H6S 2022 later than exterior, but those who were expecting to see some original solutions in the cabin were disappointed.

Inside the Haval H6S is the same as the H6, although even here there is an abundance of black color.

But the leather trim has been replaced with alcantara, and the seat belts are made in bright yellow.

The front panel remains unchanged: the digital instruments on the 10.25-inch display and hovering 12.3-inch touchscreen, which, among other things, takes control of the climate control.

Interestingly, the Chinese also do not exclude the appearance of modifications with simple internal combustion engines, and in this case they have to consider the engines from the P6 — 1.5-liter turbo 1.5 with 169 hp and 2.0-liter with direct injection, producing up to 224 hp Transmission for all the above units is the same — seven-speed «robot».

Haval H6S: when will it be released in Russia?

The manufacturer does not call even an approximate date of release of the novelty, but it definitely has a chance to appear in Russia.

As it happened with the recently debuted Haval Big Dog, which is now actively undergoing certification tests.

Prices for the new coupe-like crossover will be announced after the official premiere.
