Hennessey VelociRaptor 600 2022.

Hennessey VelociRaptor 600 based on the new Ford F-150 Raptor has been presented.

American Atelier Hennessey has presented the third generation of its modification VelociRaptor 600. The novelty is based on the new Ford F-150 Raptor.

It can be easily recognized from the donor Hennessey VelociRaptor 600 by different bumpers and special decals. The modified pickup also used special 20-inch wheels with 37-inch off-road tires.

The VelociRaptor is powered by a 3.5-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 engine. The latter has been finalized, having received a different control program, a new intercooler and a number of other improvements.

All this allowed to increase the engine’s output to 600 hp at 6,000 rpm and 843 Nm available at 4,000 rpm. Acceleration from 0-60 mph (96 km/h) is possible in 4.2 seconds.

The quarter-mile range can be covered in 12.9 seconds, accelerating up to 177 km/h. By the way, in these figures the novelty is largely similar to the Ram 1500 TRX.

Other features include retuned suspension, and for an extra fee the truck can be equipped with more effective front brakes Brembo with six-piston calipers.

Buy a new Hennessey VelociRaptor 600 for $ 85,950 (6.1 million rubles at current exchange rate), and this price includes a donor F-150 Raptor.

However, if we look at the statistics on sales of older versions of the modification, the majority of customers prefer more complete cars in the area of $110,000 (7.8 million rubles). Anyway, shipment of cars to the first buyers will start only in 2022.

The Hennessey VelociRaptor 600 pickup will be a rare model.

Orders for the new VelociRaptor 600 are accepted at authorized Ford dealers or directly from Hennessey, and deliveries to customers will begin in early 2022.

For the third time, Hennessey Performance looked at the Ford F-150 Raptor pickup, this time in its newest reincarnation, based on the fourteenth-generation F-150. The resulting Gen 3 VelociRaptor 600.

It is not the most powerful «150» at Hennessey, and other studios showed impressive variants, but those were cars with V8 engine. And in this case we are talking about a redesign of the pickup with a supercharged V6 3.5 EcoBoost unit.

The increase in power by a third is achieved by changing the intake system, installing a more productive intercooler and reprogramming. All pickups are then subjected to dynamometer and road tests (up to 400 miles).

The warranty on the redesigned model is three years or 36,000 miles. The production run will be limited to 250 vehicles per year. Each will get a license plate in the interior.

After Hennessey’s EcoBoost upgrade, the motor produces 608 hp and 843 N-m instead of the original 456 hp and 691 N-m. This allows the pickup to hit 60 mph from zero in 4.2 seconds and go the quarter-mile when starting from the ground in 12.9 seconds at a finish speed of 177 km/h.

The price of such a pickup is $85,950 (6.1 million rubles). It is also possible to buy a package Off Road with modified bumpers (in the front — optional diode light), 20-inch wheels Hennessey with 35-inch off-road tires (or 37, optional), the total elevator of 76 mm (including tires).

It is also possible to buy front six-piston Brembo calipers. That’s why the final price of Velociraptor can exceed $110,000 (7.8 million rubles), including the cost of the original Raptor.
