The Chinese premium brand HONGQI may launch four models on the Russian market in 2022.

The preliminary lineup of models of a new brand from the PRC for the Russian car market has been unveiled.

Luxury brand Hongqi, which is part of the car giant FAW, will offer Russian motorists four models: two sedans and two parkettes.

Sales are scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of next year.

According to insider information, experts of this brand from China are dealing with obtaining certification of foreign cars planned for production, so that they will have time to bring them to the domestic car market by the end of this year.

The cars are already rumored to be delivered to the country. All that remains is to pass certification testing and obtain approval of the type of vehicle.

In the Russian Federation Hongqi should add four new items: sedans H5 and H9, electrified model E-HS9 and a crossover HS5 with a petrol power plant.

It is worth noting that the sedan H5 will get to the Russian car market in a new generation, which has not yet been sold even in the homeland of the brand.

The issue with the distributor of the concern in Russia, as reported, has already been resolved.

The final choice from a variety of options made in favor of the Chinese division of the concern FAW.

It is worth recalling that the Hongqi E-HS9 Parkett with an electric motor can already be ordered from two domestic dealers — the company «Trinity Auto» and «ElectroKars Rus» from 9.7 to 11.5 million rubles.

The first customer models will be delivered to the country by mid-autumn.

HONGQI has introduced the HONGQI H5, which will replace Mercedes and BMW in Russia.

The new generation is bright, technologically advanced and most importantly has a competitive price.

Chinese brand Hongqi officially launched the new generation H5 on July 26.

This car will be offered in seven versions, and the starting price tag will be only 159,800 yuan.

Translated into rubles it is 1,379,000. The best equipped car is estimated at 225,800 yuan. It is a little less than 2 million rubles.

If we talk about appearance, in comparison with the previous generation changes have occurred dramatically.

The grille is quite large, and due to the massive air intakes the H5 gets an aggressive look.

On the side there is nothing special, but the designers perfectly showed the large length of the sedan — 4,980 mm. The wheelbase is also impressive — 2 920 mm.

The base version of the car is equipped with 18-inch wheels with more spokes.

At the rear we’ll note the lamps, connected in a monoblock. The interior of the car is also a lot of interesting, especially it contrasts with the previous version.

The instrument panel received 12.3-inch screen and a digital version.

The finishing is done in dark red tones — it looks expensive and original.

The head unit is made in the form of a vertical tablet and allows you to manage many functions.

If we talk about engines, there are only three. The base turbocharged with volume of 1,5 liters and return of 169 hp.

The more powerful 2,0-liter turbo engine can already give out 224 hp. There is also a hybrid version, but without the ability of charging from the network — HEV. The total output reaches 169 hp.

Fuel consumption in the last version is only 5.1 liters per 100 kilometers. And the first two versions are economical — they need only 6.2 and 6.4 liters in the combined cycle.
