Hyundai has disclosed prices and options for the new electric crossover Ioniq 5.

The Korean brand has decided to provide its electric car with a competitive price tag. With the Hyundai Ioniq 5, the automaker began its journey towards an electrified future.

There is also a modification with a battery of 77.4 kWh and a cruising range of 488 kilometers. In total, the Americans will have three versions of electrocross: SE, SEL and Limited.

The most affordable electric car supports quick charging, and its range is 354 kilometers. Up to 80 percent of such an electric crossover can be recharged in 18 minutes.

Ioniq 5 «base» has LED headlights, 19-inch aerodynamic wheels, hidden door handles, multimedia with a large touchscreen and support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and much more.

The automaker did not forget about the most advanced driving assistants. The novelty is built on a new E-GMP platform, which supports Vehicle-To-Load (V2L) technology.

It means that it is possible to feed home appliances from the electric car. With the growth of the set of options becomes richer.

The power plant output also grows — 168 hp or 225 hp, as well as 320 hp for the top-end all-wheel-drive electric car.

SEL version costs at least $47,125 (more than 3.46 million rubles), and Limited — from $51,825 (more than 3.81 million rubles).

There is also an option with a 77.4 kWh battery and a range of 488 km. In total, the company will offer three versions of the model: SE, SEL and Limited .

The «base» electric car can travel 354 kilometers, is equipped with super-fast charging at 800 V and 350 kW, which allows from 10 to 80 percent charge in 18 minutes.

The Ioniq 5 will come standard with 19-inch aerodynamic wheels, LED lighting, hidden door handles that automatically extend and a hidden charging port door.

Inside, there’s a 12.3-inch infotainment screen with an EV system menu, as well as Android Auto and Apple CarPlay phone integration.

The Hyundai Bluelink system offers remote access to charging and other vehicle functions from afar via a smartphone app.

There’s also Hyundai Highway Drive Assist 1, which includes smart cruise control, lane-keeping and follow-through assistance.

In addition, the equipment list includes collision assist with cross-traffic detection and a rearview camera with dynamic lines.

And all this is in addition to Hyundai’s 10-year, 161,000-mile powertrain warranty, which also covers the battery.

You also get 3 years, 58k miles of additional maintenance on fluid changes (yes, the battery and engine are liquid cooled, and that fluid will eventually need to be replaced) or tire replacements.

In addition to these standard features, the new E-GMP platform has a number of interesting technologies.

You’ll be able to use the Hyundai-developed Vehicle-To-Load (V2L), which powers small appliances, devices, and can even be used to charge electric cars if the need arises, provided you choose the SEL and higher model.

You’ll also get a choice between a single-motor, rear-wheel-drive model with 168 hp, or 225 hp. The four-wheel drive version produces about 320 hp.

The more expensive SEL and Limited versions will get a broader list of equipment, such as a hands-free luggage door, power and silver door mirrors, six-way power seats, wireless charging for devices, and more.

Prices for the SEL start at $4,7125 (3.467 million rubles) , and the Limited model is priced at a minimum of $51,825 (3.813 million rubles).
