Hyundai Palisade 2021.

Russia has started accepting orders for a large three-row crossover Hyundai Palisade. The flagship of the Korean brand reached our market two years after the international debut, having entered the conveyor of the Kaliningrad Avtotor.

In the Hyundai lineup, the new Palisade is intended to replace the Grand Santa Fe model.

Available in seven- and eight-seat versions, the crossover is offered to the Russians with two engines — a 2.2 CRDi 200 hp diesel engine. and a petrol aspirated V6 3.5 MPI 249 hp.

There are four equipment levels for both variants: Lifestyle, Prestige, High-Tech and Cosmos. Prices for Hyundai Palisade 2021 range from 3,149,000 to 3,829,000 rubles. The cars will appear in dealerships after the New Year.

Diesel Hyundai Palisade, driven by a 2.2 CRDi engine with a 200 hp output. and 440 Nm, costs a little less and consumes much less fuel (7.3 instead of 10.6 liters).

The petrol version with a 3.5 MPI V6 engine (249 hp, 336 Nm), in turn, has better dynamics — it accelerates to «hundreds» in 8.1 seconds (versus 10.5 seconds) and accelerates to a maximum of 210 km / h (+ 20 km / h relative to the diesel counterpart).

At the same time, both modifications are equipped with an 8-speed automatic transmission and an HTRAC all-wheel drive system with a rear wheel clutch.

The dimensions of the model are as follows: length — 4980 mm, width — 1975 mm, height — 1750 mm. Between the axles there are 2900 mm, and the clearance is declared at 203 mm.

In the curb state, the crossover weighs at least 1967 kg, while the gross vehicle weight can reach 2690 kg.

The Palisade’s suspension is completely independent: MacPherson strut front and multi-link rear. Disc brakes on all wheels are ventilated.

The size of the standard wheels is 18 or 20 inches (tires 245/60 R18 and 245/50 R20). The trunk holds from 311 to 704 liters of cargo.

Configuration and price of Hyundai Palisade 2021

The Korean giant has an eight-seater cabin layout by default, and a seven-seater configuration with separate second-row seats is only available in the top-end Cosmos.

How both versions of the interior look like can be seen in the photos below. It should also be noted that the only free color is white, and for the rest of the colors you will have to pay 15,000 rubles.

The basic Lifestyle package (price from 3,149,000 rubles) includes LED headlights and running lights, multimedia with a 9-inch screen, three-zone climate control, heated steering wheel and the first two rows of seats, electric driver’s seat (10 directions), parking sensors in front and rear , rear view camera, rain and light sensors, keyless entry and engine start button, six airbags.

The salon of the simplest Hyundai Palisad crossover is finished with natural and artificial leather.

The Prestige variant with a price of 3 399 000 or 3 449 000 rubles gets a navigation system with a 10.25-inch screen, a 7-inch digital instrument panel, electric adjustment of both front seats (+ ventilation), all-round cameras, wireless charging, Harman / Kardon acoustics.

The advanced version of High-Tech includes a windshield projector, panoramic sunroof, rear window blinds and 20-inch wheels.

Also included is a package of electronic assistants, which provides for an automatic body leveling system, emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping and a number of other assistants.

The price of Hyundai Palisade High-Tech 2021, depending on the modification, is 3,679,000 or 3,729,000 rubles.

The crossover in the expensive Cosmos configuration boasts exclusive equipment. The interior of such a car is finished with Nappa leather (seats) and suede (ceiling and pillars).

There are two color schemes to choose from: maroon with black and light gray. In the seven-seater versions, separate second-row seats are equipped with ventilation.

Specifications

The external dimensions, realized in the ratios of 4981×1976 and 1750 mm, correspond to the full-size crossover format in the SUV body.

The chassis with a base of 2900 mm and a high off-road clearance is equipped with front or all-wheel drive, independent MacPherson and link suspension, stabilizers, electronic assistants and effective safety systems.

• The first generation Hyundai Palisade 2021 offers a choice of two powertrains. The first solution is a petrol 3.8-liter «six» with a transverse layout, 295 hp / 355 Nm peak thrust output.

• The turbocharged diesel equivalent of 2.2 liters generates 202 hp. power and 440 Nm of torque.
