KIA Carnival 2022.

KIA Carnival 2022 model year has more rich equipment in Russia.

Sales of the KIA Carnival 2022 have started in Russia. It should be noted that the Korean fourth-generation minivan debuted on our market only in April of the twenty-first, and since then more than 2,600 such cars have been sold in the country.

The exterior and interior of the model has not changed, although the car tried on a new nameplate.

Technical «stuff» remained the same: the choice may be a 2.2-liter four-cylinder turbodiesel with 199 hp or 3.5-liter gasoline MPI with 249 horsepower, working with an 8-speed automatic.

In our market, the Carnival is still offered in five packages, but the equipment of the higher versions has changed a bit.

For example, in Prestige version there is a 12.3-inch multimedia display instead of the eight-inch one.

A Bose audio system, interior camera for communication with passengers, all-around view camera and a navigator are added to this complete set.

Earlier, this equipment was allowed only for top Premium version.

Starting with Prestige, Korean minivan also has a rain sensor, which the model did not have before.

In addition, the list of equipment includes a system of automatic braking when backing out of the parking lot and telematics system «KIA Connect».

Prices for the 2022 Carnival van range from 2,864,900 to 3,994,900 rubles. Depending on the configuration, the model has gone up in price by 15-205 thousand rubles.

There are two engines available for the model — both are paired with an 8-band automatic transmission, the drive is strictly front-wheel drive. The base engine is a 2.2-liter turbodiesel with 199 «horses», and as an alternative a version with 3.5-liter petrol «six» of 249 hp can be chosen.

Prestige specification flaunts 18-inch wheels and chrome exterior trim, plus there is keyless access, engine start with a button, electric sliding side doors and trunk lid, artificial leather upholstery, electric adjustment of the driver’s seat, and sunblinds on the windows for the second and third rows.

The Premium variant additionally boasts two power sunroofs, contoured interior lighting, ventilated front seats (the front passenger seat also comes with electric adjustments).

Premium is equipped with a digital instrument panel on the screen 12.3″, Bose music with 12 speakers, increased to 12.3 inch display of the media system, paddle paddles for manual shifting of automatic transmission, deep tinting of rear windows and a complex of preventive security «Drive Wise».
