Kia Telluride 2023.

Koreans have presented an updated Kia Telluride 2023 for the North American market At the New York Auto Show 2022, the presentation of the updated Kia Telluride took place.

During restyling, Korean three-row crossover retained its brutal appearance, although it got new bumpers and lighting equipment.

In particular, the car has received modified headlights, which are now made in the form of twin vertical strips, while previously they had the form of rectangular bezels.

Plus, a new wheel design is available for the car.

The interior of the restyled version of the Kia Telluride 2023 model year has been revised much more.

First of all, it is worth noting the appearance of a single panel without a visor with two 12.3-inch displays located on it.

In the head unit of the multimedia in this case was built in Wi-Fi transmitter, so now the owner can unlock the car remotely — from your smartphone.

Configuration of the central console remains the same: there is a full-fledged push-button climate control and music control knobs.

But in the cabin there is a new steering wheel and was installed a 10.0-inch projection display (previously it was 8.5″), which displays an expanded set of information.

The new Kia Telluride 2023 can still have seven or eight seats, with the Koreans using new materials for its interior trim and replacing outdated USB-A connectors with more modern USB-C.

For extra charge there is an opportunity to order the rear-view mirror with a screen on the whole area (for displaying the picture from rear-view camera).

In terms of technology was no change: it still got a 3.8-liter gasoline V6 GDI at 295 hp and an eight-speed automatic.

Drive of all-terrain vehicle can be both front, and all-wheel drive. At the same time, the model has been equipped with an electronic hill descent assistant and improved adaptive cruise control, which can automatically reshape itself on the track.

For the updated Kia Telluride 2023, two «all-road» versions also became available.

The first of them is called «Telluride X-Line» and is formally a replacement for the Nightfall Edition modification.

This crossover has massive rails, original 20-inch wheels and increased ground clearance (+ 10 mm). All-wheel drive is included in the list of basic equipment.

Plus it boasts a recalibrated traction control system and an optional Tow Row towing preset, when activated, the automatic transmission holds downshifts and the clutch works with preload.

The more advanced variant is called the Telluride X-Pro. It has 18-inch wheels with «cogged» tires, and a household socket is provided in the luggage compartment.

This Korean crossover variant is able to tow a trailer weighing up to 2,495 kg (+ 220).

The premiere of KIA Telluride in the U.S. is not accidental: the local market is the main one for this model.

In the showrooms of North American dealers updated crossover will appear in the summer of the twenty-second.

It is unknown how much it will cost, but the pre-reformed version of the model sold over the ocean at a price of $33,000 (2.7 million rubles at current exchange rates).
