Maserati has officially unveiled the MC20 Cielo 2023 Cabriolet: all the details and features.

Back in 2020, Maserati introduced the new MC20 coupe to the world.

Then the brand said that in the future we will see a convertible with the same name.

And now finally the official debut of the Maserati MC20 Cielo 2023 has taken place. This body will definitely not be the last in the supercar lineup.

Under a hood of the new convertible we will meet the same engine as in the coupe. It is a 3,0-liter V6 engine with 621 hp.

It is paired with an eight-speed automatic gearbox. The car develops a top speed of 320 km/h.

The design of the Cielo is very similar to a coupe, but there are some obvious differences because of the convertible roof.

At the back there are no holes for ventilation — instead there is a sticker Trident.

Air intakes changed their location, but the shape of the doors remained easily recognizable.

The rims have a new design in the form of a double X, and also will be available with wheels made of lightweight materials that will help to reduce the weight of the car.

Firstly the model will be available in a limited edition PrimaSerie Launch Edition.

Only 60 cars will be produced, and they will get some unique elements. For example, the body will be made in a new color — aquamarine.

The interior will be trimmed with alcantara and leather in blue and white with navy accents.

The headrests will have a name of the edition in the same color. We’ll also see PrimaSerie badges on the 20-inch black rims.

The Cielo gets the same upgrades as the 2023 MC20 coupe. These include improved steering, new light activation controls and many systems for safety on the road.

Among them are automatic braking in difficult situations and sensors for 360-degree visibility.

So far, Maserati has not named the start date of sales, as well as the cost of the convertible.
