Mitsubishi prepares to premiere the all-new ASX 2023: first details published.

It was reported earlier that Japanese Mitsubishi brand is planning to quit the European market completely.

But the other day there is new information, which completely refutes the previous one. The matter is that the brand seeks to strengthen its positions in the countries of the Old World.

To be more precise, then the strategy of development departs in the direction of electrification and hybrid technologies. And there is quite logical explanation — tough ecological legislation.

As it became known, the company prepares for the premiere of absolutely new Mitsubishi ASX 2023. The crossover has already been shown on photos where it is possible to see rather radical transformations.

It is also noteworthy that specialists from Renault concern will work closely with this project.

The appearance of the Mitsubishi ASX deserves special attention. The published image shows absolutely different car in comparison with the actual version.

Even outlines of a body are far from those that it is possible to see on public roads. Of course, it is difficult to examine the design in detail on the photo, as only individual details are shown on the darkened background.

Here you can see smooth outlines, where there are no chisels and other angularity. Wheel arches also got a fairly smooth design.

At the front bumper you can see only illuminated brand logo and a part of the radiator grille. However, it is still impossible to determine the design of the latter.

As it was said above, new Mitsubishi ASX will be available with hybrid technologies HEV and PHEV.

Moreover, it will be completely developed by French brand Renault. However, technical characteristics of the first and second installation are still kept in secret.

It is known that the automobile will be created on the CMF-B platform. By the way, on the same architecture Renault Captur (in Russia it is on sale under the name Kaptur) is made.

It means that both models can have similar characteristics.

Assembly of the new Mitsubishi ASX will be carried out in Spain at a plant located in Valladolid.

It is reported that sales of the novelty will start early next year.
