New Audi A4 2023.

Audi has been testing the new generation of the A4 for several months now, and the test specimens are periodically caught by the lens of photospies.

Using the resulting photos, we decided to imagine how the car will look.

The first generation of A4 (body B5) appeared in 1994, it came to replace once popular in Russia model Audi 80 with the index B4 (simply known as «barrel»).

Today there is already a fifth generation with the factory index B9, which premiered in 2015, and in 2019, the «four» received a restyling.

The time is approaching for the change of generations, and test copies of the new generation have already been repeatedly spotted on public roads during tests.

For now, we only have pictures of the station wagons at our disposal, but they also allow us to see the direction in which the styling of one of the most popular models of the brand will change.

The new Audi A4 is a rare case for modern automobile industry when in the new generation the radiator grille will become smaller in size and not vice versa.

Its height will be significantly reduced, and it will also get an original design of crossbars.

Headlights will get a relatively simple shape, we have depicted one of the options for LED running lights graphics.

The hood connector will be «separated» from the radiator grille, which is uncharacteristic for the brand’s models.

The overall body plastic will become a little more plastic, as opposed to the geometric styling of the current model.

On our renders, the car is shown with classic door handles, however, among the photographed by spies test samples were the owners of recessed handles, similar will also be installed in the future Audi A6 e-tron.

As for the rear, the tone will be set by the horizontally stretched lights, which, perhaps, in the new generation will be united by an LED strip.

The upcoming A4 is expected to be the last generation offered with internal combustion engines.

It will be built on an upgraded MLB platform that many other Volkswagen models use.

Many versions will be hybrid, also in the future to appear all-electric modifications, the most powerful of which with the prefix RS can get two electric motors with a total capacity of 475 hp and 800 Nm of torque.

The premiere may take place before the end of this year.
