Nissan is preparing to sell the upgraded Nissan Armada SUV in China.

Previously, this model was sold exclusively in the North American auto market. Now it is the turn of the growing Chinese market.

Japanese automaker Nissan is finalizing preparations for the launch of the updated Nissan Armada SUV on the Chinese car market.

The new market for the model is interesting because there is a huge range of new cars in local showrooms in 2022, while sales in the U.S. are now markedly reduced.

This is the reasoning and representatives of the company from Japan.

It is worth recalling that the updated Nissan Armada was presented in covid 2020.

A year and a half later, the model has become an improved version of the global Nissan Patrol.

The SUV got a redesigned grille, a bumper at the front and a redesigned interior.

Under the hood of the updated model for the PRC is working V8 unit with a working volume of 5.6 liters and 400 horsepower in tandem with an automatic transmission and all-wheel drive system.

If earlier the car was available only in North America, now it can be purchased also by Chinese residents.

The decision to take Nissan Armada to the automobile market of China is not accidental.

At the moment the volume of sales of new models here exceeds indicators of any other country.

At the same time, car sales figures in the U.S. have declined significantly. Accordingly, the management of Nissan considered it appropriate to bring Armada model to China.

This version of the SUV appeared in 2020 and is actually a local modification of the well-known all over the world Nissan Patrol.

The main visual differences of Armada is the installation of a new grille, as well as the front bumper.

Also the American version received a different design of the interior.

Dimensions of Nissan Armada are 5165x1995x1940 mm, and its center distance is equal to 3075 mm.

Clearance of the vehicle indicates that it is designed to overcome serious obstacles on the road, as its size is 273 mm.

It is known that the Chinese motorists will be offered SUV with a 5.6-liter engine with 8 cylinders.

Its power indicator is 400 horsepower. Automatic transmission and all-wheel drive system will pair this unit.

It is reported that the debut of the SUV on the Chinese market may take place before the end of this year.

Possible price level set for Nissan Armada in China, the manufacturer has not announced yet, as well as its plans to sell the car in other countries.

The start of sales of the Nissan Armada in China will begin in the second half of 2022.
