Mazda BT-50 Thunder 2021.

Mazda Australia has unveiled a new flagship version of the BT-50 pickup truck, named the Thunder prefix.

The novelty is designed specifically for the Australian market, where it will compete with the Toyota Hilux Rugged X and Nissan Navara N-Trek Warrior.

It is reported that the modification is based on the BT-50 GT Dual Cab 4 × 4 version.

The car differs from the donor by the presence of a steel bumper guard and an additional LED chandelier in the front.

The top-of-the-line pickup also features flared wheel arches and new side steps.

Plus, this car has 18-inch alloy wheels in black and a stylish arch for the cargo area.

Genesis X Concept 2021.

The Genesis X Concept is testing the waters for the brand’s future premium coupé.

Genesis hosted a special event in Los Angeles, during which it unveiled its fifth concept, the Genesis X. This model is an electric grand tourer designed to showcase the design changes that will receive future models of the brand.

Project chief designer SangYup Lee said the prototype was designed in the «Ultimate Athletic Elegance» style, with both familiar and brand new designs.

In particular, the Genesis X Concept features the signature Crest Grille, which also features a 3D G-Matrix design. Also, the prototype is notable for unusual headlights and lanterns made in the form of dual LED strips.

Interestingly, the model’s long bonnet and front fenders are one piece. This decision contributed to the creation of a cleaner and more aerodynamic appearance.

The interior of the modification is characterized by water-repellent seat upholstery and advanced functionality of the multimedia system, the screen of which now displays indicators of longitudinal and lateral roll.

The developers of the Volkswagen automobile concern are preparing to unveil a new conceptual electrified car, named ID. 7.

Volkswagen, through its commercial vehicle division, has unveiled the new ID Buzz minivan in a render image, which is expected to debut in 2022.

The German model will be fully electric and will receive an autonomous driving system. Because of the latter, a structure resembling a «hat» is placed on the roof of the new ID Buzz.

This decision is probably due to the fact that it is here that sensors and radars will be located, providing autonomous control.

The car has recognizable shapes. The fact is that Volkswagen designed its minivans in a similar style in the 70s. However, full copying in this case is out of the question.

The published render shows that the German novelty will have a voluminous body with smooth outlines and «piled up» back front pillars. The car will receive large optics, under which a bumper with a wide and long air intake will be placed.
