Electric liftback Afeela 2026.

The electric car of Sony and Honda companies has become closer to the assembly line.

Unlike many Chinese automakers, which are creating new brands and models at an incredible speed, Sony and Honda are taking a much more cautious approach.

The electric car under the joint brand Afeela, which was presented a year ago at CES 2023, is being finalized by the partners step by step and without haste.

This year, at the next Consumer Electronics Exhibition, a version of the machine close to the assembly line was presented.

The Afeela electric liftback has new bumpers and new lighting equipment. The headlights and the LED strip connecting them are now framed by a black glossy mask, which also hides a large information screen in the center of the front end.

A similar smaller display is located between the rear lights.

Yuanhang is a new premium brand launched last year by China’s Dayun Group, and the Y6 large electric sedan is its first model to hit the market.

Dayun Group’s main profile is commercial vehicles of a wide range, but motorcycles and passenger cars are also produced under the parent brand.

Dayun passenger cars are the relatively inexpensive Yuehu electric hatchback and Yuanzhi M1 minivan, almost invisible on the Chinese market (a total of 19,734 units were sold in the first 11 months of this year).

But Yuanhang is a rather ambitious brand, aimed at fighting Hongqi and other Chinese brands at the intersection of the premium and luxury segments.

Xiaomi SU7 2024: details about the first electric car from the smartphone manufacturer.

Xiaomi founder and CEO Lei Jun personally held a technical presentation of the debut model of the company’s automotive division.

Lei Jun officially announced the creation of the automobile division at the end of March 2021, with investments in it amounting to at least 10 billion US dollars.

And now, after 1000 days, the first model is ready — the large premium electric sedan Xiaomi SU7, it will be produced on a contract basis by the Beijing plant of the BAIC auto concern, while the lion’s share of the hardware in this model was developed internally by Xiaomi.

Today’s presentation was devoted more to the technologies and components common to all future Xiaomi models, rather than to the Xiaomi SU7 sedan — it still has a separate presentation ahead with prices and options, and will enter the market in the first half of next year.

The modular platform on which the Xiaomi SU7 is built and which future Xiaomi models will receive is called Modena, it has a flexible electrical architecture — 400 or 800 volts, depending on the model version.

The world premiere of the new (fifth) generation Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 2024 in the J250 body took place.

The debut was highly anticipated, because the last Prado (J150) came out 14 years ago.

So, the new Toyota Land Cruiser Prado J250 (by the way, in many markets the SUV is called without the Prado prefix, for example, in the USA) is built on the GA-F platform (like the Land Cruiser 300).

The frame and permanent all-wheel drive with a center self-locking differential and low gear are retained.

The exterior design of the Prado 2024 is made in the style of the new Lexus GX, with the maximum number of sharp corners and straight surfaces.
